I have just heard from Catherine that my pearls are in Vancouver. I think that should mean that they ought to make their way across the Rockies by early next week.

My pearls from Catherine arrived last night and I am delighted with them. Having real difficulty deciding which to keep and which to gift. So without further ado, here are the photos. Firstly a group shot ...

So I''m guessing you''d all like to see a few money (neck) shots right? You''ll be pleased to hear I seem to have mastered the art.

The one thing I would say about them is that Catherine''s pictures tend to show more of a bluish hue than appears IRL. Still gorgeous though.
The old neck is holding out better than I thought it was. Can you tell I''m stretching it to keep my fizzog out of the pic!

Gailey, those are just magnificent! Can you tell me more about the solid strand? What size are they, and what kind of overtones do they have? I''m just loving the metallic glow!! Oh, one other weird question, can you tell what color silk they used for knotting? And you have a gorgeous, elegant neck.
