Sold Caysie CVB Dahlia setting for sale

Hi everyone,
I went back and forth trying to decide if I should sell this setting because I truly do love this design!
It is the original CVB Dahlia setting. It has an 8 prong platinum head shaped like a lotus flower or dahlia petals with the most perfect precious mil-grain on an 18 karat rose gold very very soft knife edge shank. Size 5.5 and resizable.

There is a .07 GIA certified pink surprise diamond set under the head of the ring and two small ruby melee set at the 4 and 8 o clock spots.

The setting is in pristine condition and the original diamond was removed ever so carefully by Whiteflash when they removed my diamond.

If you are interested in putting a different head for a different size or shape stone, David Klass is willing to do this for a phenomenally reasonable price as well.

I'm asking $900 or best offer for the setting so I can sell it fast as I have another project underway. Shipping included, all sales are final and I take PayPal (friends and family please).

Hi, it fits a 8.4 to 8.6 mm round. David was going to resize the head to fit a smaller or larger stone for me. Since the head is separate, it can be removed and a new head placed on it. Thanks.

Ohhh this is my favourite setting. And it would fit my ideal stone size too.. Sadly I am a few years away from that upgrade

Hi, I am really not sure. I reached out to Caysie for another potential buyer and she said that 8.5 mm would be too small, but I could fit something 8.6 mm and bigger. I could ask her if you're interested.

So I love this setting!!! I can't tell if the petals are almost like a halo. Can you tell me if they add millimeters to the entire face of the ring, the way a halo does? Or is it an optical illusion? If so, how many mm wide is the face?

Hi,
The petals do add mm's to the face. I would estimate that my 8.6 mm looked closer to 9 mm due to the silhouette effect.
