It''s so sad to see the marriage of someone you care about end!Date: 1/8/2006 6:11:11 PM

One of my good friends got her gown through Chadwicks about 3 years back, and it was stunning!!! She and her fiance were paying for the wedding themselves and need to cut corners where they could. If she had not told me, I would have thought she spent thousands on that gown. She looked beautiful!
ETA: That wedding was the most romantic wedding I''ve ever been to (in the backyard of their house, by the pool, live music). Unfortunately, the couple separated about a year ago, and I''M STILL NOT OVER IT!
It''s absolutely okay to be unconventional, small, whatever. It''s your wedding, and personally, I would do things on a much smaller, more intimate scale if I ever got married again. I was only 21 when I got married. My parents made all the arrangements. I basically had the same size/type wedding all my friends were having. Really no individuality at all.Date: 1/8/2006 6:52:00 PM

We have to cut corners as well... since we are paying for our own wedding too.. so, ours will be small, and probably a little unconventional, but you know, its ok... we''ll still have family and friends there to share it, and in the great scheme of things, its really all that matters to us.
