Hey everyone, first off a big thank you to everyone here for helping me pick a diamond for my girlfriend. We got engaged over the weekend, my original plan was to propose while playing golf together (a passion for us both) but that fell through and instead I popped the question at this really nice secluded beach/park area. I was not really nervous an thought it was going to be easy thing to do, but the nerves definitely kicked in as the time was approaching. She said Yes, well actually "Of course" was the answer....
This is the diamond I chose:

In an old thread I had storm was nice enough to look at the IS and say it looked good, and the crown height was 16.9% I believe which was good too. And it also had good dimensions and the price was great. I was a little scared with the I color but truthfully its not noticeable to me at all in regular conditions. I can notice a very slight warmth when I inspected the diamond first upside down on a white paper while comparing it to a G diamond I looked at. But when its set its great to me and her (the important part)
I put it in this setting, Danhov ME25 in platinum

Im addicted to the split shank, I love it.
Overall this diamond process was an experience, with out pricescope I''m pretty sure I would of ended up with something not so nice. Jamesallen was very easy to work with and I recommend them. Truthfully I never really saw an asscher in person and must say they are very unique, and I''m happy that my fiancee has something special. To avoid the "this thread is worthless without pics" wait no further as I will post a bunch:
Thanks again!
