Chicago store for Ultrasonics

Hi
It looks like we will be going to the States (Chicago)

for one week after Easter. Any stores I can pop into and buy a good ultrasonic? Brand names would be most appreciated as well as the store. This might seem like stupid question, but they just dont sell them in the UK, so no idea which ones are good to get in a store. I am not too keen to do the internet purchase, so would like to pick it up in person.

If the Sharper Image stores are still around by then you can buy one there. There is a big store in downtown Chicago somewhere...can't remember exactly where.

But they are in a big bankruptcy thing right now....so they might not be there by summer! But their ultrasonics are great!

Also worth it to remember though that the US generally has different electrical systems then other countries. So our plugs usually won't fit outlets in other countries...

Thanks neatfreak, I will check that out as I had planned to get a converter plug socket. It would be really annoying if I couldnt get one in the US to use in the UK.
