Hi you guys helped me upgrade my wedding ring so grateful for that.
Now i’m trying to figure the setting - any experiences would be appreciated:

I picked up the lowest price classic setting but now i feel its too high for my taste:

And considering these two now: One is lower one is a cathedral so a little bit higher but both lower than what i have now:B9A6EFD2-0FF2-4F05-B538-8B5577F2D278.png5F636108-31F8-4E24-A7A6-4C8EB7A9162D.png

Also i bought a 9 stone ring to go with it but now i’m thinking should i save more and make it built hearts and arrows as well? Does it really matter that much with small stones?
Here is the style i like:

So is your setting the first one you posted and you are interested in the 2nd/3rd setting you posted? You didn't give any explanation
of the pictures...except the 9 stone.

I like setting #3 best

yes exactly what i tried to mean sorry, first one is the one I have now, 2nd and 3rd are the ones i’m considering.

personal preference, but I like #2

I like both #2 and #3. You could ask but it looks like maybe #3 sots a bit lower than #2? If that’s what you want, I’d ask WF which of the two sits the lowest.

Did you already buy the 9-stone? And is it not from WF? It looks pretty and like it would compliment your solitaire but if you want ideal cut in those little stones, I’d go with a WF band.

I like #2 the best. Not sure if it will be much lower, I can't really tell from the pictures.

I will let someone with more expertise weigh in on the band issue. To me personally, if it is eye clean and super sparkly, it doesn't matter. But I realize this is PS!

I personally like the cathedral setting the best... I always think cathedral settings are more elegant than other solitaires!

I don't know what cut quality the diamonds on your ring are - you are comparing them to a whiteflash center diamond, yes? You would know better than we would whether you are happy with the cut quality! I like that style you have though with the single prong in between the diamonds.

Hi thank you. Yes #3 is the lowest. Yes i bought the 9 stone ring its from Bloomingdales, it looks fine to me I was only asking if hearts and arrows really matters that much with smaller size stones.

yes beautiful design. I mean it sparkles outside but i’m not sure if i should return and spend more to get it from Whiteflash :)

Hi @Caglapek I commented on my thread about the Legato head but also wanted to follow up on your thread too.

What setting did you end up going with for your upgrade?

@Caglapek I’ve tried WF 4 prongs (#1) and personally I don’t like it, but its different with their 6prongs, I quite like it. Their 6 prongs somehow looks lower and the prongs looks prettier than the 4 prongs. Have you consider 6prongs?

Hi i used to have 6 prongs before but not from Wf, my first wedding ring... Then i switched to the classic 4 prong from Wf and now as i’m updating i got confused, but i will be going away soon for a long time so i choose the same setting and found it to be too high for my taste- sent it back to have set it lower as possible. I’ll be travelling soon so ran out of time. Hopefully when i get back i’ll consider changing the setting if i really don’t like the 4 prong classic. Will see. Please share how your setting turns out.

With the 4prongs, it was because there was delay in my original setting so they sent the diamond in 4prongs for me to try on. Same as you, I found it too high and its somehow looks too edgy/boxy for me. And because the stone was too warm for me so I sent them all back. When I tried another diamond, I asked 6prongs and I love it more. But then because the center wasn’t as big as I wanted it, and I found that I love pave/micropave. I returned it again and ended up with a halo ring from Victor Canera. WF had nothing to offer me that time, so I ended up getting CIH and not ACA. I never thought I’m a halo person:lol:
