Just wondering are there any ads that really put you in the christmas mood. There''s an ad for guinness over here that I just adore. Not sure if you guys have it in the states but here it is on you tube

I know the ad you mean.

I love the coke ads... "..holidays are coming, holidays are coming...".

Now, I am cranky that this year they repeated the ad from last year. MAKE another AD. I am sure they make enough moola.

I love that holidays are coming ad too! Although I never think it''s the same since they don''t have the big line of trucks coming at the end. I wish they''d bring back that one.

I love the ads you''ve posted! I''d never seen the Guiness one but I loved it. I also especially liked the first Gap ad that OU Pearl posted.

If my horse could do that, he would! I bought him a new rug and went up to put it on him last night and he HATES his rugs, so I went to get something and came back and he'd already taken the new rug out of it's packaging and was jumping around on it! If he didn't look so cute standing there pretending it wasn't him I would have killed him.

Great topic bee!!! I love that Guinness ad. And the Barry''s Tea Radio Ad (click on ''train''), the one about the train set? I get a lump in my throat every time I hear that little "chugga chugga chooooo choooo"!

For me, it''s not Christmas until I hear or see the An Post snowman ad. I can''t find it anywhere online, this is the closest I could manage.. So sad they''re not using it this year

And no, the IrnBru spoof doesn''t make up for it!!!

Oh and the Kellogg''s one as well, with the little girl going ''ho ho ho''!

And the ESB ad with Dusty Springfield singing ''Going Back''. That one gets me every time.

Who knew I had so many favourite Christmas ads?!?

Hehe... Sometimes when my FI comes home from a long day at work (he has a long drive), I''ll greet him at the door that way. Without fail, every time, he looks at me with a puzzled expression and says, "my name''s not Peter."

really?! It''s so christmassy! I used to hate the Snowman film though-my mother would make me watch it every year as a kid!

Oh I am such a dork... I love the Corona ones where they light up the palm tree, and...the journey pendant necklace commercials...I just really like the songs. When DH and I were picking out the tree, I was like "I are going to surprise me with a journey pendant?" (he knows I strongly dislike that style) and he said "No...these trees aren''t perfect because they don''t come with a gift." WOW, we watch too much TV.

And the Hershey''s kiss one...they''ve had the same ad for literally 20 years! I love how it doesn''t change
