Christmas Ring

I picked out this ring for my Christmas present several weeks ago and my FI just picked it up tonight. I wanted a smaller, plainer ring to wear once in a while -- I travel for work and prefer to leave my good ring at home.

I have no idea about any specs on this ring, other than that it''s around 3/4 ct. There''s no certification, but I fell in love with it as soon as I put it on. My princess stone is an E/VS2 and the new stone looks just as white. The new stone is eyeclean, but I found a fairly substantial feather when louping it from the side.

This is the ring on my ring finger with the little anniversary band I typically wear.

Thank you all so much! I''m so thrilled to have this new ring because I realized that I love the simplicity of a round stone in a classic setting. I have been very fortunate to get some really *great* deals that don''t break the bank, so FI is happy to indulge my diamond lust.

Coming soon...the necklace that I''m having done -- a 1/4 ct. round (I think transitional) that I bought set in an old illusion head setting. It''s being put into a white gold bezel and should be done in 2 weeks.
