Chunky or Dainty

For a tennis bracelet? Yes, I'm aware I am posting a lot about them. I have a dainty wrist. I am wondering what size carat would look good on it without having to buy fake Ross-Simmons CZ imitations? I don't want to go into the jewelers' to try any on right now but I appreciate how James Allen has the different sizes on the hand models.

Any takes?

My vote is chunky but im thinking more bold than chunky.
ie on the large side but not to large, just right.

Imo even the most petite people can carry off a large tennis bracelet very well. @glitterbomb and her amazing 0.75ct each bracelet comes to mind! I would go as large as budget allows!

Try them until you find the one so heavy you can not lift your arm then go down 1ctw. :}

My favorite size is 7-8 cttw - less than that looks too skinny to me and more than that starts looking like it wouldn't be comfortable to wear every day, at least for me.

You used "chunky" and "clunky." Yes on the former, stopping short of the latter.

Too dainty and what's the point? And: lots cheaper to go chunky on a slim wrist!

I have kind of both though some might call a 5 carat still delicate. I have a 2 carat and a 5 carat. The 5 is my chunky as it’s plenty big on my small wrist and the largest I think I would go in my social circle. It’s my special occasion bracelet and the 2 carat is something for everyday.

I wear my 5cttw with 3mm stones as a stacker at least one other bracelet or bangle.

If I were to wear just one tennis bracelet then the stones would need to be fairly large like upwards of 0.5ct each.

Very much down to personal taste IMHO.

If stacking with other bracelets, then more on the daintier side.
If wearing stand-alone, then more on the larger side.

On its own, it would disappear on my chunky wrist!

For a special occasion get the chunky one. I love my 3ct 7” off-the-shelf bracelet for everyday wear with casual outfits.
