I admire the organized people on here, who have neatly itemized threads which they periodically update with sales and reductions and things still available. So, I figured I'd start one! I'm going to try to get a bunch of new things up today (everything from a vintage Must de Cartier briefcase to a few pairs of pearl studs to some ruby pieces), with the caveat that I'm going to be going away for a few weeks, and all sales will be suspended come Wednesday. So with no further ado, here's what's currently available - all links go to Loupe Troop.

P.S. - I'm always open to offers & swaps. :naughty:

- Victorian-style gold locket, 14k, 25mm (bit bigger than a quarter), $550.

- Art Deco diamond ring, 14k white gold, star motif, size 6.5., center stone approximately 1/3 of a carat, $800.

- a Harry Potter phoenix necklace in sterling, $75.

- a pearl and diamond bypass ring, 18k, size 5.5, $200

Next up:

- 7.2mm OctaCZ studs produced by Wink Jones, same as the kind so generously offered at the 3rd Annual PS JCK GTG (linked here, with better photos: https://www.pricescope.com/blog/3rd-annual-pricescope-get-together-door-prize-uber-roundup). Mine are his "warm" color, akin to an H, set in heavy 14k white gold double u-prong settings. Here's the LT link: http://loupetroop.com/listings/earrings/7mm-octacz-studs-in-heavy-wg-u-prong-settings - asking $375.

- ruby and sapphire drops, link here, http://loupetroop.com/listings/earrings/high-karat-gold-ruby-and-sapphire-drop-earrings, high karat gold, asking $300 for the pair, happy to part them for $175 apiece if somebody would like one for a pendant. :)

- pretty 14k yellow gold emerald and diamond flower pendant, available at Loupe Troop here http://loupetroop.com/listings/neck...mately-one-carat-total-weight-14k-yellow-gold for $150.

- any recent graduates in your circle? This cute little graduation cap pendant in 14k makes a nice keepsake, priced at $65 (link: http://loupetroop.com/listings/necklaces-and-pendants/14k-gold-graduation-cap-charm-slash-pendant).

Next again:

- nephrite jade pick, $50, link: http://loupetroop.com/listings/neck...phrite-jade-pick-pendant-great-for-a-musician

- crescent moon necklace and stud set - these are really nifty for everyday, cool but unusual. I just don't wear the poor things as much anymore, since they're a little too big to go with my new multi-stud look, and wearing the necklace alone feels wrong ... $80, and a link: http://loupetroop.com/listings/earrings/crescent-moon-earrings-and-necklace-set

- carved coral rose stud earrings, 18k, $175, link here: http://loupetroop.com/listings/earrings/carved-coral-rose-studs-earrings-14k-gold-posts

And, next again: the bracelet edition;

- first up, a gorgeous heavy sterling and garnet cuff (always made me feel surprisingly like Wonder Woman), asking $250, link: http://loupetroop.com/listings/bracelets/garnet-cuff-bracelet-sterling-tribal

- Navajo turquoise and sterling cuff in a leaf pattern, asking $75, link here: http://loupetroop.com/listings/bracelets/native-american-turquoise-silver-cuff-bracelet

- and a very nifty mod-squad type square silver bangle with a neatly done invisible catch, asking $85, link here: http://loupetroop.com/listings/bracelets/mod-square-sterling-bangle-bracelet

I hope it's okay to list not-exactly-jewelry-but-related things: like, I just sold a bottle of JAR perfume through LT, which I imagine to be primarily of interest to jewelry aficionados. In that same vein ...

- a black-lip (Pinctada margaritifera) oyster shell and Damascus steel folding knife from a famous knife maker named Paul Presto. It's a signed and numbered piece (I managed to forget TSA regs when I bought it for my husband, and 6 years of sitting in a box is 6 years too many for this pretty thing!). Asking only what I paid way back, and I understand they're somewhat collectible. $475, and here's the link: http://loupetroop.com/listings/other/damascus-steel-and-mother-of-pearl-folding-knife-collectible

- similarly collectible, a 007 keychain from S.T. Dupont, asking $420, link here: http://loupetroop.com/listings/other/dupont-007-keychain-fathers-day

- Must de Cartier briefcase in wine-red suede and leather with a bit of a mystery to it, link here: http://loupetroop.com/listings/other/must-de-cartier-briefcase-wine-red-suede-and-leather, asking $375

I have no idea what I would do it with it but I puffy heart LOVE the briefcase. If I actually worked in an office I would buy that, a bowler hat, and a 20's style rain jacket and just walk around like that. Be an international woman of mystery

These items have so much personality! My funds are tied up in a spinel project or I would be all over that star ring ;(

Hooe they sell quickly for you!

Heheheh - would you believe that's the exact same thought process I had? Alas, given that I'm on campus all of two whole days a week, the poor thing is languishing. It deserves an existence of intrigue! C'mon, SB - you know you want to get it, put on your bowler, maybe grab a sword-cane on the way, and GO TO THAT ADDRESS!

I know I do, anyway. :Up_to_something:

Thank you! I guess when you look at them as a package, you DO get a surprisingly accurate glimpse into The Inner Life of Circe. The only thing that's missing is my love of a nice postprandial brandy, and I refuse to surrender the rose crystal and gilt snifters. I am intrigued by your spinel project ... is there a thread? I am going to raid your backposts and find out. :naughty:

OctaCZ earrings are sold. :appl:

Well, no thread yet on that spinel in particular. It's going to be a long, impatient time until this project becomes reality, BUT it's because I don't want to cut corners. Unfortunately not wanting to cut corners usually equals upping the budget and squirreling away funds. I had to hold off on an earring and pendant project to get this underway but if anyone wants my poorly drawn sketched out cocktail napkin ideas, I will happily start a thread

I hope you do! I adore spinels, and it sounds like this is going to be a well-thought-out piece. It's always so fun to watch the planning!

I cannot tell you how much I want that knife. It is beautiful! I fear I would crack the MOP though. That and I have no money. ;(

I suffer from the latter myself! The former is actually not as much of a concern as you might think ... I started carving mother of pearl for a hobby, and that stuff is TOUGH. I think if you were to try using the knife as a blunt object, there's a distant possibility of damage, but normal wear? Nah. It's a nice thick slab on either side. :cheeky:

Sorry, cats and kittens - sales are suspended until mid-August. But if there's something you've been eyeballing that you'd like to earmark, you have only to say the word.

I'm back, and better (at organization) than ever. :)

Um, this is TDF Circe! Thinking of ways to incorporate it into my life....lol

Thanks, Omieluv! Right now it lives on a high shelf in my study looking dashing, but I figure the poor thing deserves a life of romance and adventure, y'know?

Hi, guys - added a few more things (I am determined that eventually that jewelry box will be filled exclusively with things I actually wear once in a while).

- miniature Phi Beta Kappa key from 1927, asking $175

I'm not sure why, but when I saw that pendant of the nude figure pop up on Loupetroop, I immediately thought "Circe!"

Circe, I love the Fawkes pendant and it gave me such a brilliant idea.

Sooooo I know your selling to fund another *amazing* ring you found (seriously how do you find these things? Most people can't get ONE of the pieces like you have in your collection and you just seem to find one after another after another lol)

And I stumbled upon this purse on ebay while looking for a ring for someone. Figured I'd share :)

Hey, VL - I'm sorry, I just spotted this! Those purses are SO COOL (and I'm guessing our techniques are similar - dedicated searching for whatever with the propensity to get distracted by The Shiny that's just over there). Seriously, why don't they make purses like that anymore? Imagine an iPhone case with that level of craftsmanship!

But, to get back to why I was signing in - the nude and the locket are SOLD. :cheeky:

If I want to get my greedy mitts on that special something I've got on hold, I need to stop being such a hoarder! So I'm finally listing the Henry Dunay brooches that I've mentioned a few times before, along with a few other unusual items I just don't seem to use enough to justify keeping them. Hopefully, they will be the object of somebody's ardor the way my thingy is the object of mine! So ....

First up, an Edwardian calling-card case in a lovely gold that's right on the edge of yellow and rose. It's a little too small for the typically sized business card, but it's great if you want to order them in a smaller size, or, do what I've done when I've wanted to use it, and just employ it as The Coolest Money Clip in the World. 14k, fully hallmarked, 43 grams, asking $2500 OBO.

Then, a menagerie of three brooches by Henry Dunay: an 18k gold lion club, a sterling elephant with 18k golden tusks, and a sterling rhino, also with golden tusks. These are from Dunay's savannah period, back during the 1990s. I'm asking $1300 apiece for the elephant and the rhino, and $4200 for the golden lion cub. They're all nice, solid pieces - ping me if you have any questions. I'm more than happy to offer a discount if you want to keep the three together. :naughty: Here are the links:
