An even dozen treasures - anybody interested? They run the gamut from pretty silver to perfect diamonds ....

This is my first time listing things for sale, so I hope y'all will be patient with me if I'm a little slow on the uptake - the first two inquiries I've gotten have been from awesome PS'rs in places I've never had to mail anything to before, so I'm guesstimating on the fly. But with the best of intentions, I swear! This stuff is just the tip of the iceberg ... more to come. And, in the meantime, if you have any questions, or want additional pics, just ask, here, or via LoupeTroupe, where I'm listing: please find my listings in toto here; http://loupetroop.com/users/Circe ...

... and my individual listings at the links below:

First up, a faceted moonstone ring by Karen Karch. $100 http://loupetroop.com/listings/ring...d-moonstone-ring-set-in-silver-by-karen-karch

Second, a mod-fabulous 28 carat lemon quartz pendant by Margo Manhattan. $200 http://loupetroop.com/listings/necklaces-and-pendants/margo-manhattan-lemon-quartz-pendant

Third, a Signed Pieces eternity band - white gold, size 5.75, possessing .75 carats of gorgeous D VVS diamonds. $600 http://loupetroop.com/listings/band...ty-band-75-brilliant-cut-channel-set-14k-band

Fourth, a mouthwatering vivid watermelon tourmaline ring - heart-shaped, for Valentine's Day! - from Aragona Designs. $850 http://loupetroop.com/listings/ring...ed-watermelon-tourmaline-ring-aragona-designs

I'm posting them in batches of four, so as not to overload PS's attachment capacity.

Next round:

The heart-shaped tourmaline counterpart to the aformentioned ring: watermelon schorl. C'mon, tell me you're not curious .... $300 http://loupetroop.com/listings/neck...maline-necklace-14k-setting-watermelon-schorl

Nextly, the design that gave Alex Streeter (and the movie) his name: the Angel Heart ring, a gorgeous winged heart wrought in 14k yellow gold. Size 6.5, easily sizable. - $450 http://loupetroop.com/listings/neck...rt-ring-14k-yellow-gold-made-by-alex-streeter

Feeling old-school? How about a gorgeous locket in yellow gold, measuring a solid 25 mm, and centered with a diamond star? $550 http://loupetroop.com/listings/neck...ellow-gold-locket-set-with-a-delicate-diamond

I curse my ever-fattening fingers, but my loss (or gain) is your gain (no, literally): I can no longer wear my beloved carre-cut ruby pinky ring in rose gold, size 4. If you would like to, well! check out the listing. $300 http://loupetroop.com/listings/bands/carre-cut-natural-ruby-eternity-band-18k-rose-gold-size-4

Unt, for my last trick of ze evening ....

Looking for a nice his-hers set-piece for Valentine's Day, or an upcoming occasion? How about a vintage wedding set that, against the odds, managed to stay together? 14k gold, sizes, respectively, 6 and 9.5, niello floral decoration, $600: http://loupetroop.com/listings/band...-hers-tapered-rings-floral-niello-decorations

Mmmreow? Silver panther ring, if we've got any "Cat People" fans in the house? $100 http://loupetroop.com/listings/rings/sterling-silver-panther-ring

I am, however reluctantly, admitting I never wear my beautiful diamond star ring: here's hoping it finds a more appreciative home. .32 center of very well-cut early modern round brilliant with an additional .30 of single-cuts, excellent workmanship. $800, http://loupetroop.com/listings/rings-natural-diamond-center/14k-white-gold-star-ring-32-center-stone

And, last but not least ... a small yellow gold 14k half-eternity, classic stacking piece, long-held for sentimental reasons, ready to move on to a better home. Yours? $150 http://loupetroop.com/listings/band...d-brilliant-14k-yellow-gold-band-size-6-dot-5

Like I said, any questions, any desire for additional images, just say the word. Also? Happy February!

Gah! I want that citrine.... but, Circe, you gave me the french cut fever and I'm not spending on anything until I get some frenchies. If I'm not broke after it happens and the pendant is still around, I'll Be Back!!!

I skimmed through the listing but didn't see, are you selling with a chain, or without? Also, the last two pics are the same on the listing.

Oh, GF, I am sorry ... but as I said in another thread, once the French Disease takes hold, there is almost no hope for a cure. But ... does this mean your pretty possibility in the other thread did not work out? BAH!

I'm selling without a chain (though, if anybody wants one, say the word on length and type and I can toss one in - I need to go and buy wire for myself this week, anyway, so I can get it at cost). And I appreciate the tip on the listing, though if you could pinpoint, I would appreciate it ... one pendant too many ....

The citrine listing has two identical pics. Maybe you could include one of the back?

Re: the mystery french-like stones from ebay... turned out to be CZs! :angryfire: Waiting for the seller to acknowledge my return request. Oh ebay. The wild west of diamond shopping.

A) Thank you for telling me, edits forthcoming immediately!

B) ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I thought that was one of those back-in-the-day, nobody-has-the-nerve-to-do-that-anymore sort of things. Geez, I'm glad you had the expertise to recognize it!!!

I'm hoping the seller didn't know herself. She seems to be nice enough in her communication, but I will know for sure when I get my refund. You should check out my thread for pics though, I got lucky with my sleuthing and completely accidentally came across an identical type of mystery cut that was appropriately marked as CZ. Mystery solved!

Anyway, sorry for the threadjack. After intergem, I hope to maybe become the lucky owner of your citrine pendant. Though I'm guessing it will be gone by then ::)

Will you be posting more pieces later?

Y'know, I say this as somebody who has spent waaaaaaaaaaaay too much time studying pics of french-cuts, but I would have wondered, too, seeing those high crowns. GOOD ON YOU for having a tester and going for double-redundancy! It is, insofar as I have one, my personal motto. Like the Boy-Scouts, just, squared. Heading over to your thread for actual on-topic comments (thread-jack appreciated - I wanted to know!!!), but in the vein of this thread, yes! there are to be many more things for sale. I just have to, you know, a) sell some of this stuff, and, b) get over to the safe depost box to get more of the other stuff out.

It took me almost a year to get around to this, good lord. On the one hand, photographing the pieces and writing up the descriptions was very enjoyable. My things, I love them! On the other hand, weirdly anxiety-inducing - am I doing this right? Will people want pretty shots, or hallmark shots? ONLY FIVE TO CHOOSE FROM, choose wisely (Indiana Jones). It's actually kind of a fascinating process ....

The Signed Pieces eternity band has been sold.

Circe, I just sent you a message on loupetroop about the carre RG ruby eternity band. I am not if you received it so I am sending you a quick message here. I am really interested in it!

Thanks, Fiona - pinged you back! Just let me know if I can provide any additional info.

Man oh man I wish I could buy the watermelon tourmaline ring but I can't afford anything right now :((

A slightly shame-faced emendation from me - at a potential buyer's request, I double checked the size on the ruby eternity: turns out its a 3.75 according to my mandrel, and not a 4.

My best guess is that, since I *bought* it as a 4 and think of myself as having bigger hands ... I never double-checked. More fool me, I could have been priding myself on skinny fingers all along!

My apologies for any confusion: I just double-checked all the others, and this was the only "oops!" moment. Now back to your regularly scheduled ogling ....

P.S., Ruby, thanks! I think it's gorgeous, and I've never seen another one like it ... but I also know it's a love-it-or-hate-it piece. I'm not in any hurry to sell, so, who knows? Maybe it'll wait for you ... ;)

The ruby eternity band and the yellow gold his-and-hers wedding set have been sold.

Hi, guys: posted listings for the remaining pieces at DiamondBistro, too, just to increase visibility.

You can find my listings here: http://diamondbistro.com/index.php?a=6&b=797

I'm willing to entertain offers on all of the pieces, and even offers for swaps, if that's up your alley ... I figure this way, we can all meet the holiday with a smile.

[very slight threadjack] Quick shout-out to anyone who was interested in the Signed Pieces eternity:

I am the lucky PSer who bought this eternity - it is just beautiful and exactly as described/depicted - unfortunately my size 6 finger cannot wear the size 5.75 eternity (a girl can hope, right?), and I'd rather not try to shave down the inside to gain the extra quarter size... so FYI this eternity band is available and listed for sale on DiamondBistro at the same price I just paid to Circe. [threadjack over]

No worries about threadjacking - with my blessings, and I'm only sorry it didn't work out for you.

I've reduced all my prices on LoupeTroupe in honor of tomorrow's holiday, and in the spirit of the thread - and, like I mentioned, feel free to make offers!

I believe that citrine pendant will be mine after all! :lickout:

The Margo Manhattan lemon quartz pendant has found a good home! SOLD.

Messaged you about the moonstone ring :)
