Hallo all! Just sticking my head above water from house renovations to list a few things for sale. All of these pieces are discounted by 40% or more from what I paid for them - and I got good deals when I got them! So these are nice pieces, but bargain basement prices.

Some colored gems - spinels, tourmaline, peridots - all beautiful colors. I think I'm known here for my low-effort photos, but, suffice to say, these are MUCH prettier than my photos make them look. I just don't have time at the moment to do the whole photo-shoot thing. Suffice to say, they're all lovely colors and good exampls of their type. The Gary Braun peridots, in particular, are very well cut, tho I have to say, the cushion cut mint tourmaline and blue spinel are my favorites.

The diamond studs are the quintessential "cheap and cheerful"! They're not pretending to be anything they're not but - at $200 - how far wrong can you go??

And the pearls are lovely. They're not perfectly round, unblemished, or pure blue - but when you see them together, they're genuinely lovely.

The only reason I'm selling any of these is because my interests these days run hard towards house renovations and my jewelry box is FULL. The exception to that is the diamond studs, which I bought for my daughter - until we found she couldn't wear white gold (like - EVER!) So they have to go, too.

Nice to see you all, and hoping someone snatches up these lovelies! Happy fall!

Hi! How long are the pearl bracelet and necklace?

Hello @mrs-b I would love the pearls if you would ship to the UK?

Hi @Christinak :wavey:

I am - but it's an "all care, no responsibility" situation. I've only ever done it once, and it went fine - but I was ill the entire time! That time was a $7k ring, so this would not be nearly so nervewracking, just by virtue of it being so much less expensive. But please be aware, if they were to be lost in the mail, there's virtually nothing I can do to find them and I wouldn't be offering a refund. I would send you a photo of the wrapped pearls, IN the post office, in the package with your name on it - stamped and ready to go. But after that, there's not much else I can do. The shipping would also be a lot more expensive, so I'd only pay half the shipping and you'd be on the hook for the other half.

Let me know if all those provisos haven't put you off, and we'll go from there! I thought they'd go as a set. if you want both, it's $350, or $200 for the necklace and $150 for the bracelet. I'm basically just charging for the stringing and the clasp.

Just to be clear, in case anyone doesn't know - regardless of enquiries, I sell to whoever gets the payment to me first. There can be so many hurt feelings when there's a lot of interest in a piece, and I've found that's the only clear-cut way of doing things.

The pearl bracelet is SOLD.

Hello @mrs-b: I reached out to you as well!

Pearl necklace is SOLD.

Diamond earrings are SOLD.

The peridots (largest stone is not for sale) at their best and their very worst. Normally they sit somewhere in between these extremes, but I'd put them closer to the top photo than the bottom. They're very well cut - by Gary Braun - and they reflect their color well.

And just to be clear - in the bottom photo, the peridot on the far left looks *very* pale. This was the first time I've ever seen it look like that - but I included it because it truly is the worst photo I've ever seen of these gems. Both peridots of that size (the last two stones on the left) were cut from the same rough, and i think, just in that one specific photo, the end peridot is reflecting something white (the ceiling? the walls?) from where the photo was taken.

Ohhhh, those peridots are tempting! I’ve been meaning to buy some because I wear a lot of lime-to-light green, maybe chartreuse frequently. Are those Portuguese cuts? They are beautiful.

Hi @monarch64 - yes they are. They're beautifully cut and it really brings out the bling factor. I had intended to do ring + earrings + pendant - which is why I was so "thingy" about getting them from the same rough. But I ended up using the diamonds I was planning to use in the halo on a different project, and I paid over 4k for the diamonds, so couldn't just 'buy more', willy nilly. I've hung onto them for a year or two, but have finally decided to let them go.

ETA Just to add - I've often thought, if lime was your thing, that they'd make a stunning three stone!

Just popping in to say it's so lovely to hear from you @mrs-b! I hope the house renos are going well!
