Communication with Swala?

Hi guys. I saw a stone I liked on Swala Gem traders, but I sent them a message using their internal message board system 5 days ago and haven't gotten a reply. I've never worked with them before. Is there a better way to contact them?

I have found that they answer fairly quickly, but often are tied up or out of country...
I love working with them and really recommend them

Sometimes Eric and his brother are out traveling so response will either be prompt or quite late. I’d also use the email LG provided. It once took a week for Eric to get back to me due to his travel schedule.
 
All my communication with Eric has been via email. I've actually been emailing back and forth this week about a project and it's taken a few days to get each response, so I think he must be busy.

(Either that or I'm just having lousy luck getting responses out of people -- I've got four or five email discussions going right now and they've all been a little spotty, with a couple of vendors who haven't responded at all. Had to scratch my sapphire project for that reason.)
 
Ah, thanks, guys! Eric actually responded this morning (was out of the office for a bit). Sadly, he thinks the stone I'm interested in may have been sold, despite it not appearing so on the website.

I hate when that happens :-(. I hope he is wrong for your sake.

This season is very busy. Close to X-mas, vendors have a lot of work and may be slow in returning e-mails. Overall, Eric has been very prompt.
 
Well actually, at the same time that I opened the lines of communication with Swala, I was also asking Gene about his remaning tsavorite rough, and Gene came through for me. More on that later... :naughty:
 
I’m so happy for you. After all, I think Gene’s tsavorite rough is from Swala too, so you’ll get a precision cut stone with the same material at a good price.
 
I never got any response to 2 emails that I sent back in June. :rolleyes:

Can I borrow the thread for a minute? I have the same issue with Dana at Master Cut. I have filled out his online forms with questions several times and not gotten any response. Either he doesn't like the sound of my name, :o or his forms aren't working well. Has anyone else encountered this problem and if so, is there an email alternative?

Actually, it is hard to get a hold of Dana, and don't worry, even if you know him and have bought from him before, he's still a bit slow to respond. So, it's not your name (LOL!). He's actually a farmer too, and right now his dad is recovering from knee surgery, and he's running the farm by himself.The [email protected] is the only email address, but you can try it rather than the form. If you go to his home page he tries to fill people in on what's going on, but it's not all that current. I have to say, though, that his stones are a ton better in RL than they are in the pics. Good luck!
 
No problem! I actually just bought a stone from Dana and he sent it out right away, but I didn't communicate with him beforehand, just bought it on impulse.
 
I recently had the same problem with Dana's email. I also tried the contact form...and then I tried a different email address and got through...my other one had been going to the spam folder. Once that was fixed, I've heard back from him.

I heard from him today and I hope he doesn't mind me saying that he is doing double duty with the family farm at the moment too as his dad is recovering from surgery, so hasn't had as much time as usual to cut stones or post to the website.
