Thanks, Coati! I''m glad it came out the way I hoped it would. It''s a V Day gift from my hubby.

Thanks so much Skippy, dear!

Marcy, Catmom and SDL, I''m glad you like, ladies!

What a great setting and stone! I love the martini setting. Where did you go to have the setting made? I have two stones coming and need to figure out what the best options are.

Wow, that''s beautiful, Lauren! Where is the stone from?

Oooh that is GORGEOUS Lauren!! How darling of your hubby! It''s an amazing colour and the setting is perfect perfect!

Thanks, I''ve always wanted a martini necklace . . . I like the spess in it.

I had my local jeweler in Plano, TX (JB Jewelers) make it. It''s not open stock, so they had to do everything custom, but since they carry the martini earring settings since I had them make mine, they gave me a great discount on the necklace.

Thanks, Selkie! It was a spur of the moment Ebay purchase (oh no!) from Ebay seller Indochina Gems.

Thankfully, it checked out fine by my jewelers.

Thanks, Andi!

I suppose I should have mentioned that despite the gift being a Valentine''s Day gift from my hubby - he had nothing to do with having it made.

Just like I''m giving him a new computer for Valentine''s Day.

Cool! I think it''s definitely possible to find quality stuff on eBay if you know what to look for. In fact, I was looking at concave cut gems on there just the other day myself. I''ll have to check out that vendor.

Thanks, Linda!

I really want a WF ACA pendant, but funds just don''t allow for this size yet. This was a great way to satiate the need for something large-ish around my neck.
