I can''t wait. I just saw the trailer and it looks fantastic! It even made me a bit teary.

How unfair is that we have to wait an extra week in Australia to see this? I keep telling myself that I have to resist the temptation to read any spoilers posted on the internet. I''ve already told my husband that he is watching the kids for a couple of hours at some point on that weekend so I can go and see it. I can''t wait.

I''m flying out to Texas next Thurs to meet up with my 3 bestest girlfriends from HS - we are SATC addicts, and every time we were on break in college, we''d get together and drink cosmos and watch SATC as we were getting ready to go out. When one of the gals moved to Manhattan, we also all flew out there to go on the SATC tour. I can''t wait to see my girls and I''m so excited to see the movie! We won''t go til Saturday though since one gal is meeting us up late

Oh, no way. I think they''re in it for the long haul, but the long haul for them means major bumps and bruises. I love Carrie because there''s not much that she does effortlessly!

What makes my heart break is the part of the trailer concerning Miranda and Steve. I adore Steve...fingers crossed.

Okay, so when is everyone planning on seeing SATC and when can we reconvene to debrief? My sister and I are planning on Saturday afternoon.

A large group of us are going, to a 10:30 am show and then lunch after. It is a longish movie. I bought tickets already. Honestly, I AM excited, and hope Big and Carrie stay together and that Miranda and Steve do too, though from the trailer it does not look good. There is a part of me that feels, Meh, it is four years since the show ended, and I was SOOOO into the idea of a movie a few years ago, but feel the ship has sailed to a certain degree. I mean, it has been a while and I have to reacquaint myself with all of the characters again. That being said I am of course seeing it, and hope it is worth the wait and lives up to the hype.

It opens on Wednesday here. I''m not sure when to try to see it. I hate going to the movies at all because the seats aren''t comfortable and there are a lot of people around when a movie first opens. I imagine DH won''t want to see it with me. Maybe after a couple of weeks I can go during the day when it won''t be too busy. I''m excited about it!!

I don't think SJP would do a trilogy. Did you see them on Oprah? SJP still seemed a little uncomfortable with Kim.

I think the end will all be happy endings, Harriet! At least I hope so. SJP has said that it's what the fan would want, and some things that the fan doesn't know she wants. So that sounds good . I really don't think the writers are going to do anything too crazy or fans would revolt! My friends were going ape at the end of the series when they introduced Alexsandr (sp? I remember it was funky spelling) - they have to know we want happy endings

Yep, I noticed that too. I thought it was a smart PR move to seat the two of them beside each other...you know pretend they''re best friends and there''s no tension between them. As an aside, I love Samantha!
