Curious about my sapphires

Afternoon everyone , I'm new here, I am just wondering if anyone can tell me a bit more about my sapphires that I was gifted by family many years ago. I hope the photos provided help.. looking forward to hearing from anyone and everyone ..

They look like Aussie sapphires.
if you’re in Sydney you could make an appointment to see Doug Menadue from Bespoke Gems, he is a gem cutter.
He can advise you about facetting and the cost to do so.

Yes I am in Australia, I am on the Sunshine coast, Queensland. Would you know of anyone up here that I could be directed to?

I can’t be of much help but they look like Australian or Montana sapphires. The shapes are cool but not ideal for cutting. If I were you, I would habe one or two faceted and keep the rest in the rough. Cool stuff!

Perhaps the larger pieces could be faceted, the rest you keep as family tokens. The smallest and thinnest ones could probably even go into a shaker locket!
