This is the link to the diamond. Please let me know what you think
Thank you
Thank you, what do you think of that compared to the below?
I would always recommend choosing a different vendor than brilliant earth. Their customer service is, frankly, horrifying. The stone itself is hard for me to say, but I feel like it isnt very lively and doesnt have much play of light, but it might be the video angle. @Kim N @DejaWiz what do you think?
I adore hearts and arrows cushion cuts (the first one from BN). So that would be my choice above all of the others, personally.
A small culet is fine. Even a bigger culet is fine as long as you like the look. Many older stones have non-pointed culets and a lot of
PSers find them to be charming (the stones).
I'm not a big fan of the faceting pattern under the table on the new stone you posted. Not bad just not my cup of tea. However,
if you like it...I would ask to see if you can get an ASET image of it (probably not, but worth asking in case you can).
There is no agreed upon standard for Super Ideal Cut based on GIA grading a diamond Excellent in Polish and Symmetry. Words are not always a guarantee that any special standard actually applies.
Is this a good deal?
Price $60k
Color D
Carat 3.6, natural
Super Ideal Cut
VVS2
How else should I think about it?
This is a very good quality stone. Cushion cut diamonds are incredibly popular right now, so it would make sense that it is a higher price.
Agreed. I actually really like the facet pattern but its definitely personal taste, and an ASET would be needed
Let me know what you think of the Aset image I attached, thank you
this is not accurate at all. We have no idea if the stone is high quality or not based on the one picture we have. Cushion cuts don't automatically command a higher price.
we know it is good quality based on the information he gave us:
D color
VVS2
