Cushion pendant setting

Anybody know where I can find one? I have been to all the usual suspect websites and have not seen any. Lots of emerald settings, but the measurements wont work for an 11x8 cushion. Well I should not say that as inexperienced as I am so as a cprallary to my original question... will an 10x8 or 11x9 emerald setting work for an 11x8 cushion?


ETA- what is the difference between a setting and a "finding"? not that there were any in the findings either, but I just wondered.

LOGR can do custom pendant settings....if that is the route you want to take.

From what I understand, castings are what gems are set into, and findings are clasps, toggles, etc.

I know that it seems like no one around here likes JTV, but I found a couple of rectangular cushions on their site. The closest I found is a 10x8; I think that sometimes jewelers can make a mount work for a gem that its not exactly calibrated for, but I also think it depends on the skill of your jeweler, how much you intend to spend, etc. Hope this helped some!

Hm... Adwar and Stuller seem to have some cushion pendant settings that are sorta close to the dimensions of your gemstone.

A skilled jeweler could probably make one of 'em work.

You could also go the Etsy route if you wanted to. I'm sure that Julia Kay Taylor, Heart of Water Jewels, or OneGarnetGirl could come up with something lovely
