Cushion: The Remake - following on from bad bad bezel

Ok so some of you probably read my thread https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/bad-bad-cushion-bezel.98736/ on my disastrous experience with jeweller (who I am still debating whether to mention this to being as I spent so much money for rubbish and the insurance appraiser asked who the hell set the ring?!!!) Advice on that appreciated.

So I took the plunge and got my stone reset by Susan Astaire (london jeweller who has done work for royalty and Gwyneth Paltrow!!!!) And here it is!!!

Thanks for all the compliments! My stone sure looks much more at home and sparkles like crazy! It''s like getting engaged again!

Susan was fabulous and no where near as expensive as I thought it would be. She makes gorgeous jewellery - her best seller at the moment is a baby ring.....I have no baby so no chance of one of those - need to work on the eternity band now teee hee!

I always wanted something simple and classic and now I have it. I am so glad I sorted things just still feel quite angry about the other jeweller as I can see such a difference in Susan''s work compared to his.

I love my cushion!

Forgot to say, my rings are size J in Uk sizing so am not sure what that is in US sizing....my fingers are pretty small I think!
