Custom Cut Sapphire

I love Richard Homer''s work but don''t see the cut/color/stone combation that I love. How does priceing compare between pieces he has for sale and something that would be custom cut? For example... right now he has up a beautiful yellow sapphire, 6.5 X6.5 in a square cushion concave. If I wanted a stone of that size and color but in a square emerald concave with clipped corners that had to be custom cut, would the price be significantly higher because it was custom? I''m in the process of trying to figure out what is in my price range for e-rings and what is not even worth looking at. Thanks for any help you can give!
