The story is that my local jeweler lost one of my very old eternity rings, eventually they replaced it with a custom made to match ring. Meanwhile it bugged me that my "set" no longer had that matching old look to it. So Pete @ Quest made a copy of the copy so that my set would be "whole" again. The center ring has single cut diamonds circa 1920, the outer rings are ideal G/VS, all platinum 19 grams, right around 4.5cts total.

Here''s the results.

Very nice!

Holy Bling! Very pretty, I love that you can wear them so many ways! Glad there was a happy ending to your story!

Yes, glad to hear that you got what you wanted in the end. Still so strange that they lost your ring!

Sparkle sparkle sparkle!!! They are lovely!

Thank you for your nice comments. I really do love the look and how much more they sparkle though was really happy with my original set. I can''t imagine how the jeweler lost my ring. We went round and round about that and in the end they made a gorgeous ring to replace it but it really out shone the other eternity band. Old diamonds just don''t sparkle the same as new ones so Pete at Quest was fantastic about doing some that was not an original design, lacking creativity and in the end having to make an exact copy of someone elses work. I had to go that route because the local jeweler wouldn''t tell me who made the copy and naturally wanted tooo much money for it. Pete was really wonderful and I''m happy now.

Thank you to all those that took a look, honestly I''m glad that my rings spark an interest a bit.

So to catch up here (we went out of town) I''ll start another thread about our travel disaster.

Skippy, Beaglemom, Jenn - Thank you so much.
Msb700 - I''ll see about getting some shots of just the bands if the sun is out tomorrow, I do love wearing just the bands now, they look classy together.
Tacori- Thank you
Crooked Rock- One of my favorites is that I do have optional ways to wear my rings. I have a couple plain bands to wear with them too. Love that stacked look.
Swimmer- I really wasnt sure how it was going to work out. The jeweler and I went round and round about them losing it. Naturally they''ve NEVER lost a ring. They did make good finally and I love the end result but I was pretty distraught for a bit.
Geckodani- Thank you
SDLady- Thank you so much!

All that BLING! Your hand must be so distracting (in such a fabulous way)!

Wow, those are gorgeous.

I LOVE the vintage fishtail settings! I am looking for an eterntiy or 5 stone in the same style of your bands. PLEASE post lots of pics (profiles, close-up on prongs, etc), I am glad that Quest can mimic this look so well! LOVE IT!

It's too bad that Quest couldn't have made the original copy for you, but your set does look well balanced. :) I love the single cuts too, but it must look better with the brilliant cuts on both sides now, right? Please also post more pics of your ering, I would love to see the true vintage fishtail setting. Thanks so much for posting!
