The comfy heel thread got me thinking about comfortable work shoes.

I work at an office that requires business casual, and though I've got a few nice pairs of various "professional" colors (beige, brown, red) I'm in need of a couple new pairs of cute, comfortable (MOST important!) black shoes and wanted all of your opinions.

Softspots Mischa

Kenneth Cole Reaction Honey

Hush Puppies Silhouette

Kenneth Cole Reaction Keep Open

And just because I have a gift certificate to Macy's, I really, really, really want these. Just because I love them.

Tommy Hilfiger Ava

What do you think? I'm open to any suggestions as well. Thanks, ladies!

Oh, those first ones are so incredibly cute!! I like the Mary Janes too, but I think the first pair is my favourite.

My favorites in that list are the tommy hilfiger ones. Very cute!!!

Thank you both! I was leaning toward the first pair as well, and of course, the plaid d'orsay flats.

Anyone else? 70 views and 2 replies. C'mon, ladies, I need opinions!

I adore the look of the softspots and the Kenneth Cole''s but then I am biased I''m a complete sucker for a Mary Jane :P

I don''t see the tartan tommy ones as work shoes but with a cute little outfit great for out and about casual wear :)

I really like the Kenneth Cole Reaction Mary Janes. They look like they would be the most comfortable too.

That they do. I confess to being quite tempted, even though I am currently not in need of any new shoes.

I have the Kenneth Cole button honey''s and get tons of compiments on them. I love them!!!

I''ve always found that Born shoes are very comfy. Also their dressy boots are nice too!

I''m liking the Tommy Hilfiger''s. How cute will those be with capris or a casual cotton skirt?!

Not really into the others. I think I''m just too old; if I wore them I would look like I had given up any hope of appearing to be cool and young. We close to 50 yr olds don''t usually buy shoes that could be construed as too comfortable! I wear flats only in the summer with capris; I will never again wear a Mary Jane; and that first pair actually reminded me of my great aunt Ione who bought special shoes for feet problems. She had a pair (in every color) that looked like those!

I have the second Kenneth Cole shoes you posted but without the strap. They felt great in the store but aren''t comfortable. The front pinches my toes, the heel stretched out after couple of wears and slips off.

I have a bunch of Born because I have very bad pain in my knees and ankle, so comfortable shoes are important! Born shoes are GREAT! Very comfortable (especially the wedges)! Also I have a couple of Clark''s Artisan that are very comfy and they have a great attention to detail.

If comfort is most important, I wouldn''t go with the Tommy''s (as cute as they are!) because every TH pair except one that I''ve ever bought has been very uncomfortable. Or... you could get them AND a comfy pair.

Hush Puppies and Softspots are the most comfortable (imho)... Kenneth Cole much more comfy than TH and cute than the HP. The link for the Softspots doesn''t come up for me. Of the KC, the Keep Open looks more comfy... but they''re two different looks (both cute).

I am also a Born fan! I also like Clark''s.

A great site (if you''re an online shoper) to go to is Zappos.com... you''ll get lost in their inventory!

(speaking of Macy''s GC - I went there today and couldn''t find a darn thing to spend MY GC on! Sheesh, now that I have $$$ to spend, I can''t find anything to spend it on!)

Ebree - I love the Kenneth Cole Keep Reaction Keep Open. So cute but still comfy looking.

I love the Kenneth Cole Button Honey ones-I like the detail.

The TH ones are soooo cute too!

Thank you all for your opinions! Since I have a Macy''s GC, I think I''ll purchase either the Kenneth Cole or the TH Avas. I should probably buy the work shoes, since they''re the more practical choice....but the Avas are so cute!

:)
