Hi. I listed a couple of CVB bands on LT this morning.
I will keep the listing up for a couple of weeks, but then I’m going away and would be unable to ship them easily.
So if anyone here is interested..let me know! : )

Haha , I'll tell my DH I *needed* those to perfect my French!

Gorgeous! And the perfect sizes. :( Too bad it's not in the card for me just now.

Emailed you; pls let me know if you didn’t get it!

Elise, Hi. I didn’t get it yet, but will look for it, and if it doesn’t come through I will add an email on LT...and will write you here to tell you!

OK, I changed to another email address and tested it. It works, at least it did for me just now : )

I know I bought a band from hathalove, but I don’t remember the other seller.
Perhaps you can research and enlighten us.

I have removed the listing until you are kind enough to let us know the details.

I am sorry for giving you the impression that I care do to any sort of “research”, I just remembered the previous sale of one of the bands. It’s probably better for you to go through your PayPal history for the most accurate information. I don’t think that you should remove your LT listing, but just advising you that you might not want to advertise here when there is a significant price discrepancy since that’s against PS rules. Regardless, good luck with the sale(s)!

Because I could not find any information on the price of rings purchased several years ago, I listed my items on Looptroop based on what I thought was a fair price.

A kind thing would have been to advise me without posting links to prove your point. It would be kind to yourself as well as the link you posted does not say that I was the buyer.
I only remember that I bought one of the bands from Hathalove because she and I have had pleasant interactions before. So I believe that it took some research on your part to track down an actual conversation from two years ago that does not mention that I was the buyer.
So in order for me to know if I was the buyer I will have to do more research. I don’t recall the name.
Please keep in mind that when you post in the cold manner that you did you’re hurting someone who doesn’t mean to harm anyone.

A kind thing would’ve been to just say “Jimmianne I believe you should look at the rules for posting pre-loved jewelry on price scope”.

@SimoneDi you posted but you aren't even sure about the facts. Instead you just stirred the thread up and not only aren't you sure about the acts you wrote you don't care to research after you posted what may or may not be true. I think that is against PS rules if anything is. Stirring the pot without any factual info...not nice and not right. *If* you are going to call someone out make sure you know the facts or better yet you could have contacted @Jimmianne through her loupe troop listing saying hey I think these bands might have been sold at a less expensive price to you than what you are selling them for now. I know @Jimmianne and she wasn't trying to make a profit. That isn't who she is.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think of ‘flipping’ as buying a piece to sell it very soon after for a higher price. NOT buying a piece, wearing it for a couple years and then selling it at what a fair market value is at that time.
So in this case, I think whatever @Jimmianne paid is immaterial to what she can sell it for now after owning it for a couple of years or maybe even more.

Slick, thank you for presenting this line of reasoning. I would hope this might be the case, as it makes sense.
Sadly, the PSers who contacted me with offers did not responded to my acceptance of their offers. I assume they read the thread.
No big deal, but it would have been satisfying to send the rings to homes where they would be loved and worn.
I might try again in the Fall when I’m back in the States, or who knows, I might cycle around to wearing them again.
I’m beginning to think I’m a better buyer than seller. I am really good at buying!

Same. In fact I don't have the energy to sell but also I don't want to part with my treasures. Even the ones I don't wear. I think it is because I was a depression era baby in another life lol.

This is too bad and I am sorry @Jimmianne. What a shame the rings are going to be unworn and unloved for now and because someone stuck her nose in without any facts. Not the best PS has to offer but I guess we take the good with the bad. Hopefully one day they will find their forever homes and be worn and enjoyed.

For now we will concentrate on buying.:sun:

Yes , what a great idea. Buying bling = a transcendent experience. :appl:
« It is better to have bought and kept than never bought at all »

Oh, and I must add, that it KILLS me when I see photos of the bling I’ve sold...I want it all back!
