For Sale CvB Giselle setting

These are approximate dimensions (I can't find the paperwork right this second) but they are very close: 8.43 X 8.45 X 5.18. Seems like the side stones in your Giselle would be about the right color for a J, since yours is a K. But the depth.......well, let's see what CVB says.
 
One other thing, I don't believe I've seen a Giselle with a round stone. Maybe it doesn't work at all! We'll see, I guess.

I haven't seen a Giselle with a round, but because the French cut sides are cut to the center stone it may work. Someone had CvB do a 3 carat round with traps and bullets and it looked awesome.


Edited to say Caysie is going to check with her bench tomorrow so I'll let you know! Her thoughts are that it will work 8) .

Thanks for the follow up info. I guess I didn't ask before but it has to be upsized to 7.5, looks possible but that's another question. I have another possibility for my stone, and you seem to have other interest besides me, so we will probably all be happy in the end! If someone else does make an offer you should go with it.

No worries at all! I'll still post what Caysie's bench says since I've already asked. I don't think the sizing will be a problem, but if you're still interested just ping me :).
 
For anyone considering this setting, Caysie's bench said it can handle a round stone. It can be sized up 2 sizes and down 1 size safely.

Sagefemme: I know you have another setting for your RB but just wanted to note your stone will fit :). I hope we get to see the finished ring!!

Ooh JDDN! I would grab it but my EC wouldn't fit!! And the traps may just be the wrong proportions (sigh)

If I could find the right center stone in my budget, I would snag this up! Love it! I would love an antique cushion in that size but I need to keep it under $10k.....
 
I want this so bad. I just got my double halo and I love it, but I want to be preemptive for when the urge to reset strikes again! Is it spoken for yet?
 
Ringcat....you got an emerald?!?! Yippee, I can't wait to see it! The original Giselle was with an emerald (BrightIce's as you probably remember :)).

Jetmal: Hm, I'm sure you could find something under $10k but not sure how warm of a stone you'd be comfortable with. Have you looked at Jewels by Grace and Love Affair Diamonds? Or reached out to Adam?

Nala: I'm chuckling at "preemptive" :). It's not spoken for yet but there has been a lot of interest. Mostly I'm waiting for Caysie's bench to get back to us about what the range of dimensions will fit the setting.
