I received these pear earrings for my birthday back in 2015. Then, a few months later I decided that I would rather have mrb stud earrings for daily wear. I found that I was not using these earrings but did not want to part with them as they are beautiful, well faceted pear stones. The pears are L color - GIA and were cut to match. 1 carat each. I did not want L colored stones at the time however when I received them - they were beautiful and very sparkly.
I decided that I wanted them to be set into dangle earrings. I contacted Caysie at CVB designs and she came up with a few options for me as I wanted a vintage look. I love her work and look forward to adding to my Caysie collection over time! I then sourced the top OEC stones from Ilya Kunin at My Diamond Zone - he was able to match a beautiful pair of K/L OEC 4.5 mm stones for my earrings. Very sparkly little things! Ilya was a pleasure to work with, he was able to find just what I was looking for.
The earrings are fish hook style set in 18K white gold.
