D Color faint FL

I have two Ds with no fluorescence, but they do sometimes reflect the blue of the sky.

I would check it out under different lighting conditions. Does it bother you?

Here's mine reflecting the blue. Sorry, it's not a great pic, but hopefully you get the idea.

I have a D VVS2 with Strong Blue FL, and I get loads of blue from it when outside on a sunny day. And same as you when indoors, super white. I think that's just the nature of the FL.

First time taking the diamond outside on a sunny day, it's a faint FL D color. Is the light blue I see FL or could it be the sky? It looks great indoors, nice and white in yellow lit rooms. Thanks!PXL_20210403_161712834.jpg

It looks like the blue color of the sky reflecting from your gorgeous diamond. Faint florescence shouldn't be starkly obvious and visible. Such a beautiful sparkler :kiss2:

Gorgeous diamond!!!

It appears to be a reflection of the sky (or possibly your clothes) see the little metal thing in the corner? Also reflecting the same blue.

Beautiful stone!

If the blue is still there when you make the sun shine thru the plastic cover it is the blue sky.
The placstic cover will fliter out much of the UV from the sun.

Thank you for all the advice and compliments on the diamond! I tested the diamond out with a UV flash light (difficult not having it reflect the light), and overall it didn't illuminate as a whole. What I did find was small glowing lines that look very similar to the northern lights. I'm assuming these aren't giving off that blue hue and it was in fact the sky. I've included some pictures, please don't mind the close up of my hand :)

I will try that test out, thank you.
