I walked 7.62 miles this morning. I love being outside and walking in the freash air, being able to watch to sky change from the deepest of blues to purple and then orange and back to blue. Walking has become a luxury for me. My weight is the same from last monday to this one. Oh well.

Never mind, you are still doing great - frustrating I know

I am toying with the idea of a treadmill, have you used one Mat and what do you think?

I can do them if I have something to focus on but generally I will focus more on time then distance that way. But then I love being outside. I like eleptical machines better.

I am going to do the eliptical and to a yoga class at noon. Down 2 pounds! YEAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

As for an eliptical it looks like this

and works your entire body with low impact

So I didnt make it to the gym. I did go for an hour long walk. Tomorrow, I will be there.

i''ve read that 75% of ppl who work out in the am will stick with a routine, as opposed to the afternoon or evening. It''s hard to get up, but I''ve found that as long as I go to bed at a decent time it''s totally possible and easier to stick to since there arent as many excuses for not going.

Ms Flutter and Mat, how do you use that machine? It looks complicated to me!

It looks evil but is a dream on your joints! The motion on the bottom is similiar to if you were running. I have used one like in the picture above but I did not like it much becuase you can not adjust the intensity/ or incline as easily. My parents have one that lets you adjust the incline and the intensity and really works your lower body, but it does not have the arm motion, so that is a trade off. If you get one I would figure out what you want to do with it before purchasing becuase they are not all the same, oh and Precor is the best brand.

Thanks Matatora, I was thinking it looked like an instrument of torture

Sounds like hard work to use and complicated.

I can finally post something on here. I went to rice yesterday and jogged 1 mile and walked 2 miles. I''m going to try to start doing bikram yoga again starting on Thursday. Big cold front coming in tonight so I won''t want to be outside anymore.
