Good morning all.

Are we working extra hard in anticipation of tomorrow's chocolates we might be getting? Note to Husbands - diamonds make a most acceptable V day gift for us DWT ladies and aren't fattening! Slimming to your wallets though

Anyway I digress. I am doing well and having thinner days now, the fat feeling has gone thankfully. My next outdoor workout project will be a figure toning, manicure bludgeoning start on the garden. Lets see if I can pull those tightly rooted weeds out easier for my arm exercises. Then it will be a good old digging session which will burn the calories.

I still want to look into getting a treadmill sometime, I think it would be less boring than an exercise bike so we will see.

How is everyone else doing?

Isn''t that such a great feeling Virginia when a pair of tight trousers fit that you couldn''t wear before? Well done that''s brilliant!! And to your BF too, you should be so proud especially as other people are seeing results!
 
Ahhh... a 3.5 mile run for me this morning. I must say, it is getting easier and eaiser. Right now, the biggest limitation seems to be the lack of time in the morning - until recently, an hour to go to the gym was plenty since we could only handle a 20-30 minute run (plus shower and the walk back to the office). Right now, our biggest issue is needing to get back to work on time and not having enough time to run 4+ miles. We might just have to start going in earlier.

Anyway, congrats on getting into your pants Virginia, and on your toned arms, Lorelei. There''s nothing like results to really motivate us to press forward!

Good morning ladies.

I lost another 2 pounds! Maybe all of this worrying is what I need to be doing! So, I''m down almost 10 pounds in 5 weeks. Only 30 more to go!

I went to the gym on Saturday with my trainer and she kicked my butt big time. However, I went out Saturday night and drank a lot and had Chinese food for dinner last night. I tried to get the good stuff (although not the really good, steamed stuff) and eat only a little, but it was so yummy. I didn''t even bother counting up the points which is always my downfall. I was stupid and didn''t eat breakfast this morning -- I wasn''t hungry so I didn''t know what to do! So, I just didn''t eat anything. But now I''m starving but I will try to eat slowly.

I went to the gym this morning and did about 40 minutes of cardio before the trainer got there. I need to start doing something other than the treadmill. I''ve been doing that too much -- I''m worried about the platau...

I just made plans to go to Vegas for Memorial day and it will be warm enough to be in a bathing suit. So, I want to be bathing suit ready by then! If I could lose another 20 pounds by then, I''d be thrilled!!!
 
Virginia, I can't remember the last time I fit into a size 8 pair of pants. Maybe junior high school?

Lorelei, once you are done with your cleaning up the yard project, how about some pictures of your backyard? It would be cool for you to show off all your hard work. Plus you know us PS'ers, we're suckers for pictures!

Stermag, keep up the hard work. Sounds like you'll be ready for that race soon!

Congrats everyone sounds like they are doing SO WELL!!!!! Yay!

I was really disappointed that this morning after like 2-3 days of not hurting, suddenly my right arm is hurting again.

I put some of this cooling energy muscle relaxing gel on it but seriously I am so bummed because now I don''t know if I can workout tonite at class. I don''t want to just go because I should and then make it worse so that I can''t work out for like another week or two. So I may just walk tonite and then go on Wednesday, if I can at least get one class in this week it will be great. So it doesn''t have to be tonite but ideally I''d go tonite and then Wed. So I don''t know what to do.

I''ve been really happy with my progress, I think I may even be a little thinner than when we got married so that''s good, but my goal is to have a smashing bikini body in the next month or so, so it''s mostly tightening up at this point and maybe a little bit more around the waist (my waist is the downfall!!)...I figure I''m 31 now and if I don''t meet the goal now, I may NEVER do it!!!! Since supposedly it''s all downhill from your 30''s...don''t they say that??? haha.

Haha Mara! I hope that''s not true. I just turned 30 this year and I''m hoping the best is yet to come!

Did you guys hear about the plane crash in Roseville (near Sacramento) California? That actually took place less than a mile from my house! My fiance and I were driving around yesterday morning and saw all these ambulances and fire engines coming from all around.
