Good morning to all.

How are we getting on?

Ugh - having a fat day today and no reason for it, but hopefully I will feel better later. Trying to make the effort to get back to more normal eating soon. On a good note, my arms are feeling far more toned, so all the physical work and arm exercises are doing some good.

Hi, Lorelei, doing ok this morning. Had not too good of a workout last night, so I think I''m taking the night off. I think I''m pushing myself too hard, and my body''s telling me that I''m trying too hard. I did do interval training last night, 2 miles of 0.2 miles at 8 mph, and 0.1 miles of 4 mph over and over. I also did a mile of 6.7 mph for 3 miles total. By the time I reached the 2.5 mile mark, I was extremely tired and wanted to stop. I forced myself to do the 3 miles, and it was all mental because my body didn''t want to do it!

I hope everyone''s workouts go great today!

Blarg. Well, since I couldn''t eat dinner or breakfast this morning, we''re postponing the workouts a bit. Meh. And whatever I have makes me feel fat to boot. Garrrrrrr. OK, done whining--I will go see a doctor if it doesn''t get better in the next day or two.
 
Coda you are going to be as skinny as a rake at this rate! That is the best thing to listen to your body if it is telling you to have a rest from the workouts. You must really be getting superfit too with the distances you are covering! Good job!

Rainbow have a checkup with the doctor and let us know how you get on. I know you will feel better soon.
 
Morning ladies.

I had my trainer this morning and did about 25 minutes of cardio before she got there.

I was so excited because there was this woman there in the gym who I see every now and then and she told me that she could really see a difference in my body! My trainer tells me the same thing but I pay her to and my boyfriend says he doesn''t notice since he sees me every day. But a complete stranger noticing... very cool.

I''m surprisingly not hungry this morning so far. I had to force myself to eat something. This would be a nice change for once!
 
Guess what?

This is my 15th straight day of working out! My routine, which hasn't changed much, has been 30 minutes (give or take 10) walking in the morning and 32 minutes of exercise bike at night.

I feel much healthier and energized...just wish i could lose some weight!

Lorelei, i hear you with that 'fat day' thing. Don't worry...the feeling will go away. Hope you're feeling better soon Virginia.

Hi all.

I went to see my doctor this morning....as i have been feeling unwell. He said I have tonsilitis!

So my work out has been to the bathroom and back to bed!

I also think I have been pushing my arms too far, they are still KILLING ME when I use them at all, the insane thing is that I didnt even do anything special with them on my Tues night workout so I don''t know if they just ''snapped'' or what and this is their method of protesting that I have been torturing them daily for the last few weeks.

So no arm exercises yesterday or today...I''ll do my walk tonite. Had sushi last nite which was yummy and tonite we''ll do chicken and rice or similar. Salad for lunch.

Hope everyone feels better!! Great news about a stranger seeing changes AP...it''s very true that sometimes we are too close to our bodies and thoughts as well as others who see us daily whereas total strangers maybe are more objective!
 
It was weights for me today, but somewhat disappointing. Firstly, the gym is brand new and so is the equipment. I don''t wear gloves when I lift, and all the bars, being brand new, have those really sharp grooves to prevent it from slipping in your hand... only it eats into my palms like there''s no tomorrow, which is quite distracting as you can imagine. Secondly, for some reason I had a weak day. I''m not exactly sure how that works. Whether it was not enough sleep, not enough food, ... I wish we had a fitness expert to join us in this thread... answer questions and give suggestions. :) That would be great.

I feel unbelievably bloated today and it makes me feel blah, even though I have been working really hard and should feel better each day.

Coda, I''m impressed with your endurance. I did 3 miles yesterday, but it was at a steady 6mph pace, so not nearly as streneous as your workout today. Good job.
 
Aww, sounds like everyone is having an "off" day. Tomorrow is a new start and hopefully we can start feeling like ourselves again!
 
20 min on the elliptical, 10 treadmill, and 20 weights. i wish i could do longer cardio but i just get too bored!
