Afternoon ladies.
I woke up and did a cardio warm up workout. It was not very long but it got the blood moving and I like how it always makes my sholders pop. Hurts then but feels better for the rest of the day.
*cough* *cough* I seem to remember certain ladies saying they would be posting daily...Where did ya go?

I''m here, I''m here- home sick today (bad tummy) but I did just do some upper body weights (great for when I''m checking out the posts here) kept my eating under control- ok, the day is only half-done but so far just fruit & oatmeal. If I feel up to it I''ll hit the gym in a little bit, if not, I''m going to clean the apartment, it looks like a frat house right now!

I''m here, not much good to report. I got up to go to the gym before work, but ended up doing laundry instead. I made a healthy breakfast of egg beaters and tomatoes. Then when I got to work my desk was covered in cookie and muffin samples (so I ate a muffin). Sometimes, I think I would be so slim if my office wasnt in an executive kitchen!

Going to the gym after work. It is always harder for me to go after work, but today, I''m going at least for 40 minutes on the eliptical!

Here for my daily check-in!

Well, yesterday I was lazy so I ended up not going to the gym after work. I was a little crunched for time, but I probably could have gone had I pushed it, but I didn''t. I can''t get motivated after work!

I had my trainer this morning and was a good girl and did about 25 minutes of cardio before she got there. She was very proud of me so I felt good! I also noticed that our regular workout isn''t as difficult for me as it had been. Guess I''m getting better. Now, why won''t it show??!!

I was good last night and cooked dinner (yummy seared tuna, wasabi mashed potatoes, avacado and garlic broccoli). I only had a little bit of the potatoes and avacado. I was also good and had no alchohol. However, I did manage to scarf down some sour-patch kids that my bf had. I couldn''t stop eating them! Pathetic.

Unfortunately, I''m going out to a big dinner tonight. Lots of yummy lobster and martinis. I''m hoping to drag myself to the gym tomorrow morning. We''ll see though...

Well hmmm...perhaps we need a kick the food habit thread.
FFF- Frat house you say? Hmmm sounds like a good time to me! I would love to say my APT is spotless but right now it looks like a library exploding books and papers and highligthers and sticky tabs everywhere.
MsFlutter- You are trying that is what counts, think how much worse it would have been if you had eaten badly twice for breakfast. Eating habits are difficult to alter. Give yourself time.
AP- Way to go!

Did you tell your trainer things were starting to get easier for you? What exciting news, and such positive news as well!

I am feeling really frustrated, just want to make this work and at the same tiem I just wnat to let it go. Arrggghhh.

I usually hit the gym on Mon, Wed, Fri and Sat, so I had nothing to report yesterday. I tried to eat healthy yesterday....started with half a low carb english muffin with lowfat cream cheese, then for lunch I had some leftover steak (anout half a NY strip) and some broiled eggplant. Last night I took the famly to Souplantation/Sweet tomatoes (depending on where in the US you are) and it''s a soup and salad place. I thought I was doing great until dh waved a corn muffin in my face. I caved and ended up eating 2.

Anyhoo, I started today fresh. I had 2 eggs in a lowcarb tortilla for breakfast, went to the gym, ran 1 mile, and 20 minutes on the elliptical, did 10 minutes of abs, and 10 minutes of upper body training. Then I picked up a cobb salad. THE MOST DISGUSTING salad I''ve had I might add. I got it at Trader Joes, home of my favorite italian chopped salad. I decided to try something different today, and it was horrible. The bacon bits were really fatty and chewy (not crunchy), the bleu cheese dressing was not flavorful, just salty. The lettuce leaves were super wilted, some even slimy (i threw those out) and the boiled egg was kinda strong smelling. It said sellby 9/17. Today is only the 14th, there''s no way someon could buy it on the 17th and attempt to eat it. YUCK! I threw about 1/3 of it away. I do have some advantage low carb granola bars in my drawer at work, so that''ll be my afternoon snack.

I''ve been very bad. I haven''t been working out for 12 days and have been eating like a pig. Been on vacation last week, so went crazy with all the good food. I will get back on track tonight. Maybe just my session of Pilates and 10 mins on the elliptical. I''m feeling so tired.

especially at VEGAS....yum!

Anyways, I find that going back to the gym after a hiatus is the hardest. Once your in there though, seeing everyone''s energy and adrenaline really gets you going. Good luck.

Tomorrow I will get back on track. I had forgotten about food tasting for menu changes this afternoon. I tried to be good at first, but deciding between bread puding and ambrosia salads nearly killed me today. And instead of going to the gym I came home and sat in front of the computer. Tomorrow, will be a better day!

Small Changes, Big Loss Okay I dont know why but after reading this I was mildly annoyed...who do they think does not already know this.

I went for a quick walk around campus, 6.95 miles even. I will go again in a bit after I double check my work that is due tommorow. Beh...I can feel myself getting heavier.
