Happy Friday everyone!

I had my trainer this morning. I was good and did 28 minutes of cardio before she got there. We had a good workout -- she upped my weights a bit since she said my form is improving. I''m sure I''ll feel it tomorrow!

I had a bit of a setback yesterday though -- I realized that I had to give in and get pants in a size larger than I usually wear. I wore pants for the first time yesterday in months and they were just too uncomfortable. So, I went to Banana Republic and bought three pairs. I''m wearing the first pair today and feel much better -- but I cut out the size so I wouldn''t have to see it. My new goal is to throw these three pairs away for good by the end of winter.

I''m determined to exercise on both Saturday and Sunday this weekend -- even if staying in bed and cuddling is a much more attractive option.
 
AP, dont worry about the size, at least the new ones fit and will work as your motivation to make it to the gym and skip the candy bars! Good job at the gym this morning!

yesterday was not my best food day. It may have all been PMS but all I ate was sugar, seriously. No actual meals, cookies, cake, baklavah, the list goes on. I put all my food in the online self magazine journal every day (its great breaks up calories, fat, proteins and carbs) and I was telling my bf what I ate, his response was "that is discusting" yeah, it was. So i got up this morning and ran to the gym and then did eliptical for 40 minutes.

Its my friends bday tonight and we are having gilrs night out salsa dancing.....maybe the dancing will counteract the alchohol i need to drink to get my butt on the dance floor!
 
Great job Amanda!!! Glad to hear its going well with the trainer- upping weights is a great accomplishment!
I''m right with you on the pants thing- because I needed clothing that was sales-appropriate I had to buy a lot of stuff. I ordered dress pants in my old size and they were too tight..so I grudgingly went up one size into official "plus sizes".

But the funny thing is that since they fit correctly, they look better than the other size (and I can breath!)
At least you can buy clothes at Banana Republic- that''s a current dream of mine!


MsFlutter- between the dancing and all the excitement over your ring you''ll be burning calories like crazy!!!! Good workout today! and I know all about the sugar thing- if I never had "real food" again I''d be fine w/just the sweets!
 
I was doing okay until last night, when I decided cheesy salsa was my friend, and then I got scared when the power went out for the block, it made this awful hissing noise and went black. So I spent the rest of the evening chomping on flavored toosie rolls waiting for the power to return, which it did around 7 this morning.

And now I just had a burger...yummy meat! I am thinking about goind to Old Navy and buying some pants while things are on clearence but I dont want to know...
AP- I love bannana republic but I have not been in there forever, I am too cheap to shop there when I am uh "round". Way to go with the weights, you must be really thrilled.
MsFlutter- Have you tried drinking a bunch of water before going out? Or rotating drinks with water back and forth? It sounds like you are having great fun and you are still down a size so go you!
FFF- You and me both, I just want to wear "normal" sizes. Or at least not be directed towards the womens section.
I am so frustated things are just not going how I planned.
 
Felt uber guilty about the food and went 9.18 miles.

I''ll be doing my usual 2.5 mile walk, but today, we''ll be walking to the road of endless stairs. So there will be a lot of stair hiking involved too! I''ll probably come home and do some light weight lifting afterwards.
