Morning all! After being a lazy bum yesterday I did 7.81 miles this morning. It was cold! 43 degrees out this morning, where a week ago it was in the 70s at 4am. Fall is here I suppose. I dont want to weigh in....after this weekend I am sure I rival a cart horse. All that means is I need to get back on track. Walking in the am. CS in the afternoons or evenings. And I need to lay off the food.
How is everyone else progressing?
 
I didn''t do so good last week. I did my weigh in yesterday and found out I gained 0.8 pounds! And I worked out harder than I ever did last week too, but I also went partying and drank enormous amounts of alcohol, so I guess that''s where the weight gain came from.

Fall is here too. No sunshine and cold temps, not as cold as where you live tho Mat. We''re in the low 50s. I''m going to be hopping on my elliptical tonight for 30 mins and some weights.
 
I didn''t exercise this weekend, but I didn''t eat too badly. Not great either, but it could have been a lot worse.

I''m starting with the trainer for three times a week this week. I''m very excited. I don''t weigh myself so I don''t know if I''ve lost or gained anything. I feel better, that''s for sure. And I feel more secure without my clothes on... it''s just these damn fall/winter clothes. I don''t remember how they fit me last season so I don''t know if I''m worse. I miss the days where I could just throw on a t-shirt and skirt.

Less than 3 weeks until my vacation!
 
It is all the way up to a balmy 55 degrees. Mily where are you and why is it warmer there then in AL? That is not how it is supposed to be. Of course it is warmer in NJ the AL today and is just wrong. I would not worry about .8 lbs. That could be water weight.
AP you have a month to go you can do it! If there is anything I can do to help...let me know.
 
16 Get Fit Tips I just read this most of it was common sense but I thought I would repost it here.
 
I finally went to the gym after 5 days of laziness.....I ran 2 miles, did 15 minutes on the elliptical and did some ab crunches.

I did brave the scale, and got on....because I stopped low carbing for about 2 weeks to see if all my working out would compensate for eating carbs. Well, the results:






drumroll please.........












I didn''t gain a pound! I''ve been stuffing myself with pasta, cakes, cookies, chocolate etc etc, and it had no effect because I''m running 3-4 times a week. I guess my lessen is that in order to lose weight I need to be on some kind of diet, but if I just want to maintain, I can eat anything I want....YAY!

I got my son''s cold so I haven''t been able to work out since last Wednesday. I feel like crap. I have these horrible dark circles under my eyes b/c my daughter is not sleeping through the night, thus I''m not getting enough sleep on top of being sick.

Sorry, Pebbles just venting again!
 
Hey Mat,

I''m in the SF bay area, so it is always in the 50s in the mornings. No drastic temperatures here, always consistent. Today is a gloomy day, no sunshine.

I''m so sorry to hear that you got sick after your son. I know exactly how you feel. I usually get sick right after my little girl gets better too. Poor you! Try to get as much rest as possible and have your hubby take care of the rest!

Direct your hate towards those that don''t even have to exercise, and can stuff their faces with anything they want...like Eva Longoria!

I have to run my buns off at the gym to offset my high caloric intake. It''s SO worth it because I''m the ultimate foodie. I love food.
 
Well I did the fundamentals exercise again. I will be thin(ner) by Chirstmas.
