Good morning, Ladies. I thought I''d start today.

After not feeling so well last night, I managed to sleep okay and had a decent 4.5 mile run this morning. We did it in just under 45 minutes, so no huge speeds but we''re working on endurance.

How is everyone else doing today?

M

I''m very tired today after not sleeping well last night. I am going to take a nap when I get home from work then workout later tonight. Probably I''ll do arms, legs, abs, and run for 2-3 miles.

well i am planning to go to kbox tonite but i dont know if they are open, can''t call til after 3pm when they would typically open for the day...so we''ll see.

otherwise i''m sure we''ll be out eating somewhere and spending some time together since Greg was gone all weekend at a boys only ski trip in Tahoe.

then tomorrow is my sister''s birthday so we''ll be eating out again. yikes! this week is shaping up in a scary food way.

I did 40 mins on the elliptical and then called it a day. I really want to work on my arms but I'' m not sure what to do...I may sched an appointment with a trainer to show me how to do upper body. I''ve done lower/abs off and on enough to know what to use.

I also did 2 20 mins pilates videos and while my butt is no smaller (been doing them a few days a week) my abs are definately starting to get more muscular again.

Virginia,

Where in Ohio are you traveling to? I''m in Cinci and it has been unbelievably cold the past few days (and I just moved here from Michigan, so my comment is not exaggerated)

. Fortunately, I think that it should warm up a bit by Thursday.

I, too, hate it when the gym is crowded. About the only thing I hate more is when the temperature isn''t being regulated appropriately - it has been so hot in there the last couple of days, I thought I was going to pass out after running this morning...

Oh, Mara... I'm sure you will make sensible choices, no matter how many restaurants you end up in this week. So, no worries. ;)

it''s about an hour north of here, but I have no idea how big a difference that might make weather-wise.

I''ve been doing some work with an exercise ball and resistance band for the last week and really feel like I''m working some major muscles. Still need to add serious cardio but walking around NYC from customer to customer must count for something.

I didn''t keep entirely to my WW points this weekend, as I vegged at my parent''s vacation home in the Poconos. We did eat sushi and I was very good w/breakfast and lunch, but dinners out are always my downfall. No matter how old I get, there''s nothing like a little pampering from Momma to make everything alright

On a good WW note, I''ve lost 12.8 lbs so far (my 4th weigh-in) but bet this week will be a different story- damn pistacio nuts and tiramisu

Keep up the great work, everyone!

and on a silly note, are there any exercises that you can''t do and are trying to work towards? I have never done a "real" push-up or pull-up EVER (even as a healthy teen) and I lack the coordination to jump rope like they do in the gym- I can bearly skip! I''m curious to hear if anyone else has similar problems and plans to overcome.
