I have been doing some weights today. They are great for while I am reading over things for class. I want to wait until the footbal fans have calmed abit to go walking. How is everyone doing? I know I will be up a few (5-15lbs) this week. I have not been dieting, only exercising. Oh well, I imagine everyone else will have a more postive outcome for the week.
 
Well, I went to the gym before work today. I did leg weights and abs then 35 minutes on eliptical. My excercise has been good, but my eating has not. I hope I am not up this week, but I certainly am not down. Those chocolate cravings have been strong this week!

Has anyone ever tried any sort of diet aid? Did they work?

If your father was to read this, Miss Mata, he''d strangle you!!!!! No, no, no to the diet aids!
I know it''s so tempting, take a pill (rx or otc) and stop the hunger- but that might work if you only ate out of hunger- not boredom, stress, loneliness or all the other reasons I eat

and you shouldn''t weigh yourself until well into next week- taking the GREs put you at such a disadvantage right now- just too much pressure (I''m sending extra-special good mojo your way the nest couple of days!)

I have never met someone in person who was able to show me weight loss due to diet aids alone. I know someone who swore by one of those Stacker products, but it turns out she also started exercising 5x a week and was following a low-carb diet. Did the pills help w/her hunger? Maybe but she also worked really hard to lose it.

Today I have no exercise to report but can say that I journaled all my eating, made good decisions, stayed w/in my calories (a little higher on fat than I like but not terrible.) I actually said no to my BF when he suggested we go get fixings to make ice cream shakes in our new smoothie blender! I rationed my calories so I could endulge in some evening munchies so I''m not feeling deprived. Maybe tomorrow I''ll talk myself into some exercise as well!
 
I have tried nearly every diet supplement known to man. they dont work, they dont even help really. Except there is this one quack doctor here in town that doesnt take appointments or insurance and will give you a months worth of phentermine for $75. I always loose weight when I go on it, but I havent for a while, it doesnt last and honestly. I have a BMI of 25 (not overweight) so I was a bit scared to continue taking them.

My point is, supplements arent good, willpower, self control and excercise, those are good. Not that I take my own advice!
 
I just went 8.33 miles. I have thought about phetermine...a lot of greek girls get it from USPhentermine. But I am a wee bit nervous about that stuff... I just want to lose the weight. I wish there was a self control pill.
