Hi All! How's everyone doing on their workout routines??

Jelly and I just got back from our walk 40 minute walk this morning. This is later than our usual time and the sun was actually out!

My fiance and I did our first ballroom dance class last night. What fun! I may start another thread in the Brides section about our experience.

Anyway, I feel like I can finally contribute to a workout thread! Usually, I don't worry much about my weight, because its never really been a problem. However, yesterday I went to try on some dresses for our V-Day dinner and I looked awful in all of them. So today, I spent an hour at them gym and have already taken my dog on 3 long walks.

Ballroom dancing sounds like a blast. I wish I could get my BF to do something like that, but he hates dancing.

I'd really like to try salsa dancing too because it looks like a lot of fun.

Also, a quick question, has anyone tried the Special K challenge?

ETA Jelly is adorable. What breed is he?

I''ve never tried to Special K challenge before. I think I need more food than two bowls of cereal for lunch and breakfast though.
 
blarg. Well, I did 30 mins yesterday...I have to make myself do the full 30 bc the boy does 20 at a higher speed until he is exhuasted and then leaves, which makes me want to quit. I didn''t do my situps yesterday either.

And then I went to a meeting that was supposed to have heathly food for dinner, and they forgot it and had potato chips and doughnuts--and I was really hungrey and got a seat next to the food. Meh. Way too many doughnuts and fritos. Trans fats AND sugar, kids. I am so going to be fat when I am old and my metabolism goes, I have no self control. Meh.


Now I know I should eat real food for dinner to keep my blood sugar level or else, but I don''t want to pile calories on top of empty calories.

Hm--does anyone know about how many cals this food day has been, please?:

breakfast: half cup of oatmeal with raisins, cup of whole raw milk, 4-5 dates with marscapone, green tea

lunch--small sandwich on homemade oat bread with fontina cheese, proscuttio, and olives with a little bit of tomatoe and olive oil

snack: 4-5 dates

junk food binge: 5-6 dougnut holes, about 2 cups of fritos and a half cup of Lays....

Is the Special K thing where you eat 2 cereals a day and then a regular meal? Personally I don''t love cereal that much so it seemed too boring to me! hehee. I am very much a foodie and even if it''s healthy food, I have to love what I eat.

Did a few hours of gardening today so I guess that counts as some sort of calorie burning activity but not sure how. However I plan to eat all the calories back as we have leftover homemade 3 cheese creole mac and cheese tonite...yum.

Yeah, I don''t think the Special K thing is for me, but I''ve heard it works.

I totally gained all my calories back thanks to laziness and Sonic.
