I did 5.08 miles this morning. It feels odd to go such a short distance.

It sounds much longer when I type it out. I dont like trying to cut back but oh well. Maybe if I go back to spreading things out morning and evening that will be just as good.Hmm. I am hoping to have positive things posted for next mondays weigh in. But that will likely depend on where I am this weekend. I need sleep, maybe if I could get friday off I could just take something and sleep for a day.

i made it to the gym this morning, 20 minutes squats and lunges and 30 minutes on eliptical. Going to vegas this weekend, so i am trying not to be terrible, as i can imagine all i will be doing is eating!
 
Sleep is definitely a factor in losing weight. I hope you get more of it soon Matatora! If you need any tips, let me know... I''m a true insomniac.

I didn''t go to the gym this morning, as expected. My legs are particularly sore today -- mostly I''m sure because I did lunges with 10 lbs weights. Usually, I do it with less weight. I get to be tortured tomorrow again, so hopefully they''ll be better by then!

I was bad with dinner last night, but it was sort of a planned thing. My bf is away for business, and I tend to pig out when nobody''s watching. Very bad, I know... but I''ve been good for a while. I''m going out to dinner tonight, but it''s to a fish place so that will be good.

Next week I start seeing my trainer three times a week. Hopefully, my baby steps will get a little larger!
 
how can you girls not get enough sleep? I LOVE sleep...I would sleep all the time if I could. Greg and I are both like that. Nothing keeps us from sleeping, well except a PLANE, I can''t sleep at all on a plane.

I''m doing the kbox thing again tonite, the abs work we did on Tuesday really kicked my ass yesterday, even laughing hurt. Poor torn stomach muscles will be in for it tonite again I''m sure.

Breakfast was coffee and cereal; lunch is going to be my fave salad (after my hair appt!); and dinner will be godknowswhat but I am torn between a chicken burrito or doing a basil tomato mozz melt in our new little panini/hot sandwich press thing. mmmm.
 
Mara, that panini sounds fantastic. I think I''m mildly adicted to cheese. Which, is not a good thing, considering I''m lactose intolerant.

As for sleep, I love sleep too. I just have a problem getting there. If it''s during the day, there''s not so much of a problem. I get anxious at night...
 
Eh, well I love to sleep too. Normally I am like a cat can go to sleep instantly and tell myself to wake up at whatever time and I will. This is only the second time in my life I have had difficulty falling asleeep. It is actually making me a bit metal. I am exhusted and I feel shakey. I have tried everything I can think of, and all the suggestions on the Beh thread, except alcohol becuase I dont ihbibe. Everything is becoming that much more difficult, I swear it takes me twice aslong to shower now, and even walking to class (which is only about 1.5 miles) is taking me 20-30 minutes. All I want to do is burrow under my dowqn comforter and sleep, but when I go to lie down it is like my whole body is jerky and my mind will not stop. Very annoying. Though an upside is that I have not had much of an appetite for anything lately so at least I am not having to worry about overeatting. I wanted pasta the other day but could not think of a place to get baked ziti. Babbling again. Sorry.

I had a pretty big lunch today, so tonight I'm just planning to have a bowl of soup and maybe some veggies & fish, no rice.

Today is Thurs and my girlfriend flaked on working out with me, so I'll just work out at home. I'll be hopping on my elliptical when I get home from work. I'm planning to go for at least 30 mins, maybe even 40 if I can last that long. And then I'll be doing my weights.
 
I have designated M, W, F , Sat as workout days. Today was a pigout day.......so nothing to report on the workout department. I did have a yummy fried fish burrito with all fatty trimmin''s (sourcream, guacamole, refried beans.....) it was DELISH!

Good job to those who exercised, and major props to those who worked out, AND ate healthy!
 
It was chicken burrito for ease of dinner pickup...but I am dying to try the tomato basil mozz panini..we get one like it at this fab outdoor cafe and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it...but part of the yummyness is that they have some sort of aoili that they use so I have to figure out if I can figure out what it is..or see if it works without it. But slightly buttered grilled sourdough bread and lots of basil and tomatoes and mozz YUM.

Went to kbox and felt really energetic (it may have been the two pinwheel cookies I had for a snack!) so went NUTS on the bag during our combos which felt really good. I can definitely see more definition finally happening in my arms and shoulders, thank god, it takes me FOREVER to get to this point but this is where I really start to see my muscles coming out more.
