It's a snowy day in SW Ohio - this morning I half hoped that everybody in the city would freak out and shut down all schools/businesses due to our modest accumulation. They don't cope well with snow around these parts. The last snowfall we had was dubbed the BLIZZARD OF 2005 - kinda funny actually, given that, if I remember correctly, it didn't even stick form more than two days.

So I "braved" the roads this morning to get to the practically empty gym, put in my hour-long weights session and now I'm at my desk. Nobody else is here, would you believe it? It's going to be a quiet day.

Where is everyone? I need entertainment :)
 
morning stermag: i thought that i might wake up to snow, but so far nothing...

yesterday, i was feeling not so well. nothing serious, but just felt flat. i went to the gym anyway, but could only manage a 30 minute cardio on the elliptical. i thought i''d do pilates when i got home, but when i popped in the DVD and started the routine, i just felt not well, so i stopped.

it was definately a day of low motivation. for some reason, i was in this mood of frustration -- like i wanted to be at my goal "body" now and i was annoyed that it was taking so long, felt like it''s never going to happen, etc. etc. etc. i know that everyone goes through those moments, but i haven''t been that down in a while.

most days, my exercise and diet routine seem to be pretty well incorporated into my daily lifestyle. yesterday, it simply felt like an endurance test.

so, i went to bed relatively early and i''m feeling much better today. still not up to full inspiration, but much better than yesterday
 
I''ve been absent from this thread, but I really haven''t been doing all that well with workouts. Only two last week, but last night was a good one. I did a mile running at 7 mph, then interval running for a mile, then 1 more mile of running at 7 mph. In total I ran 2.5 miles, and I could have run further. I didn''t want to push myself too hard though, the way I''ve been feeling, so I stopped there. Tonight I''ll do some more running and some weights.

I hope everyone else is doing better than I''ve been doing!
 
When I got home last night I was DRAINED. So BF and I decided not to go to the gym. Once I realized I wasn''t going to have to do cardio, I put on my sweats and did a mat and hand weight workout. I was impressed with myself, but fell asleep on the sofa after dinner, which fortunately he made for the most part!

Tonight I have water aerobics and since it''s only once a week I really look forward to it. She really gives us a good workout!

I have been a slacker, have only played touch football so far this week. Might go to the gym tomorrow, have been sick so that is a valid excuse I think!
 
I did not get my exercise in yesterday. Half day of school then inservice from 12 - 4:30 for all us teachers = SUCK. I have aerobics tonight though, so I will make up for it.
