Dangerous corner feather?

Hello all,

After having looked at many emerald cuts, I have finally found one that is simply full of life. Of course, it has to have a feather on the corner and very near to the girdle. Based upon the plot alone, would you avoid this stone? How "inside" the girdle is "safe"? What type of prong arrangement should I consider to protect this corner?

Thanks!

It's minimal on the plot, although any clarity plot is simply a map and cannot convey severity. The GIA VS2 grade is encouraging to me. If you feel this stone is "the one" it's certainly worth getting checked-out by a trusted professional.

This recent thread had discussion of VS2 feathers coming from a few different points of view and may be of interest.

I agree with John.

The central inclusion is the grade maker and the corner will be easily covered - just make sure the setter knows about it.

Don't want to be redundant but John and Garry are pretty much right - so you're good!
