Does anyone know what the situation is like in Los Angeles because of the riots?

I have had an email from David Klass asking me to send items to another address.

Please, if anyone has contacted David recently, has he had a change of address due to the riots?

I have a project on going with him at this time. I mailed my ring to a different address than usual with the shipping label he provided. CADs are a little slower but we are moving along nicely.
He told me that, because of the protests, he is working from his and his casters’ homes. His store is boarded up and the precious items stored in a safe place.
Email for me has been the best way to contact him.

Just to reiterate what @Slick1 said - everything has been removed from their store and the whole building has had metal doors installed and an armed guard put in place. So all shipping is going elsewhere. I know they're hoping to get things back moving in a few days, but who can tell in this environment? I think it's largely out of their hands.

I'd stay with email, and I'm sure Amy will get back to you. For my own projects, I'm hoping to see some movement by the end of next week.

I would hold off for another week. Or until you confirm the address again. There's been rioting and looting just one street over from DK, and I dont know if his street has been hit.

I think the address he's having us ship to is his residence. He's been working from there since shelter-in-place started. I don't know about this week, but work has been slow coming back in recent weeks. For my project, he mentioned something about getting my ring back from the engraver, so the delay might have not been with David but with a third party that he's using.

I did not want to send items off to somewhere not so correct especially since I am so busy.

I just want to alleviate your worries. If he gave you an address on McC...., it's legit.
