I haven''t been around much because work has been a crazy nightmare! Apparently everybody is having babies lately!

However, last night was my last shift before the wedding, so now I''m freeeeee!

Today I:
1. Got off work
2. Went shopping
3. Colored my hair
4. Did my nails
5. Spray tanned

First I''d like to say that painted nails are sooo fun! As a NICU nurse, I never am allowed to have polish on my nails, so it was so fun to make them all pretty!

Okay, so spray tanning is an experience. I thought I''d try it out as an option. I''m ghostly and burn just looking out the window, so traditional tanning wasn''t really up my alley. I figured it was still far enough out that if I hated the spray tan, it would fade. However, if I liked it they had a "BOGO" sale, so I could go two days before the wedding and do it again. Well, it was a very odd experience and the jury is still out.

Good for you! Glad you had a day to primp!!! I am a marine biologist part time (real estate full time) and can''t have my nails done either, so its a luxury!

I burn very easy too and was thinking spray tan, but i''ve seen some horrid results. Hope yours turns out well! I think I''ll stay pale! :-)

Spray tans will come off in the pool . . . . .the chlorine will make if fade FAST. So FYI anyone interested :) I also noticed on my spray tan that my legs were really dark and my back and arms didnt take as well so i had to go back for a retouch. Good luck on your wedding!

Overall, the spray tan was okay. I''d give it a 5/10. Its not 100% even, but in most spots its not grossly horrible. I did take a shower earlier than the lady told me. I had it done at like 1pm (or 1300 for any other nurses out there), and I showered about 6:30 pm. The lady told me not to shower until the next morning, but the "instant bronzer" that comes with it was awful and I felt sticky and gritty and it had a smell that I wasn''t a huge fan of. My face was venturing into Ooompa Loompa land, and I was getting frightened. Once I got that awful instant bronzer off, it was actually halfway decent. I think I will go ahead and use my free second session two days before the wedding. I just need a way to protect my palms better.
