Dbty necklace question and suggestions please.

Hi everyone.
I’m planning my next project and need your assistance and opinions and suggestions as to what I need to know / request when I am having this made. I’m hoping to replicate this custom dbty necklace. Just 3 stones 20 pointer in the middle and 2 15 pointers on each side. I think I’m going to go with ID jewelry as the price quote I got is not astronomical. Here are my questions/ concerns:
1). What chain length should I go with. ? 1.2 mm or 1.5?
2) do you think the 20 pointer will poke my skin too much?
3) what spacing should I use between the middle diamond and the other two?
4) anything else I need to consider? For those of you who own one anything special I need to be thinking about? I’m attaching the inspiration photo for what I want it to be. Thank you all!!

I just measured-they look to be 3.5 to 3.6 mm without the bezel? Mine is a 5 stone. It was gift, but I seem to recall that they .20 cts each...

Perfect!! Do you have any pictures you can share? Do you notice that the diamonds poke at your skin. What width chain are they on? Please post some pictures so I can see a real life perspective with that size stones. Thank you so much

Sure. I don’t wear her that often. I’m more of a riviera girl now. I don't know if I measured correctly but the chain seems to be 1 mm wide?

If I were you, I would order a couple of cz testers off of Amazon. You should have them in a couple of days. Then you can get a sense of your ideal specs.

That’s soo gorgeous. Love it so much. Thank you for posting this gorgeous necklace. I’m going to look into checking out some cz versions for reference. Do the cutlets poke at your skin at all?

The culets are encased by the bezel so that they never touch my skin. Good luck!

I think 0.20ct is a good size. But I would go as bigger if budget allows and deeper bezels so the culets don’t poke. I have a bezel pendant that’s 4.6mm with the bezel and it feels small to me. I see about 3.5mm across the top of the stone.

I came across this 5 stone station necklace with 0.2ct stones if you want to try it out. C&C was good with returns and I got my refund right away.

Thank You for your reply. Could you post a picture of your pendant? I’d love to see it. Also I’ve been toying with the idea of maybe doing a single bigger bezeled pendant around .45 ct. I’m so torn. I love the look of BG bezel pendant with beaded chain I don’t know if that would be big enough? I’m so thorn.

I don't have suggestions on the setting, but be sure to request Pricescope quality stones. The cut (and color too, I believe) will be much better than their standard quality.

Thank you for your suggestions. I’m now leaning towards a single bezeled pendant since if I’m being honest with myself I’d definitely wear more. I’m eyeing the WF verismo pendant to match my newly bezeled earrings but on a beaded chain. I don’t care for the look of the regular chain. What do you guys think?

That sounds beautiful! And if you do a single bezel, then going with a super ideal cut is a great idea.

I’m thinking about going with this stone for the pendant. It was actually less expensive than some smaller stones with same color and lower clarity. I’m working with a budget since I’m not supposed to be buying anymore jewels lol. And a jump to .5 ct is significant.

Yes, so if you ever want to change the chain up it will be an easy swap.

I love the picture for the size comparison!! Thank you!!! Are the measurements with the bezel ? Or just the stone? I’m looking to get a .437 ct bezeled solitaire. .5 is a big price jump. Im working on a tight budget. The stone measures prêtty well at 4.85x 4.89 So bezeled I figure 5.8 or so. I think that’s a good size for everyday wear. For now. ……..

BTW, I would look for a spready stone (60/60) so it faces up bigger.

I thought of that but I’m wanting to go with WF in case I want to upgrade in the future and I am drawn to the super ideal diamonds. I posted the one I’m thinking of going with it comes in at almost 4.9 mm for just the stone itself. That’s pretty good I think.
