Debeers grading and overpriced?

I'm "stuck" going through my jeweler for an upgrade since my ring was purchased from them.

They showed me this Debeers 1.51 claiming Debeers grading is "on another level".


So is this diamond "junk"?
 
Seeing as this report doesn't even give crucial info like pav and crown angles, I think it's a nonsense report. If the diamond were good, it would be graded by a recognized lab like GIA, IGI, HRD, etc.
 
what are you upgrading from and how much is the credit ? what are new $ spend rules ? 2x orig $$$ ? - are you limited to only buying one of their in house owned stones or are they willing to call one in ? Given the state of the market, it's a tough time for upgrades - your credit may be far above current retail for same so even with the mark up on the new diamond they are looking at break even or dealing with a loss... Hence they try to steer you to a likely overpriced non GIA of unknown quality...
