Deco Sapphire & Diamond Christmas ring!

Santa left this under the tree for me...been an awful good girl!

Finger size 6 (need to size it for my right hand, excuse the lines from my wedding band), 14k yellow gold with
six 2 pt each round diamonds, six 1 pt each round blue sapphires, two 4 pt each square cut blue sapphires, and one 30 pt round center blue sapphire. The color of the sapphires in person is amazing, and I just noticed that in pics some of them look purple. They don't in real life. At just the right angle I can see some color zoning in the center of the sapphire, but the baguettes are perfect. I've never seen anything like it before, and I'm so proud of my husband for picking something for me all on his own. I know in the past he's been intimidated by what I do for a living, so he never wanted to pick something for fear I'd hate it, lol. Enjoy!

Still haven't had a chance to see it in sunlight. We live in northwestern NJ and had a snow storm yesterday, and there were too many clouds to see it today. *sigh*

I adore sapphires. When we graduated high school, my parents didn't have a lot of money, but my mom put a small sapphire and diamond ring on layaway. It had 4 baguette sapphires, and three tiny little rounds. I think the ring cost her $350, and she had it on layaway for 6 months. When I lived in NYC in 93', my ring was stolen during a break-in, and I never replaced it. So hubby has been trolling Ebay to find something similar to it, and when he came across this piece he knew I'd love the style (I'm a Deco and Edwardian freak).
