I'm looking to reset this ring but I'm out of ideas. Let me know if you ladies have any suggestions please?

I don't want a solitaire because I've come to realize very few CS can stand to be put in a simple solitaire unlike diamonds. I simply just don't like CS solitaires...

I don't want a halo because I'm trying not to have too many similar looking things and already have too many pastel stone halo rings. Plus I don't have the finger estate for it for this stone.
I would have liked a three stone setting except I don't have the finger estate for it either.

So no solitaire, no halo, no three stone....that eliminates like 90% of the settings out there I think? I'd like to use diamonds but not a pave shank.

Currently it's set in white gold which I am not keen on, I would go with yellow or rose gold.

The chain is 18k yellow gold. I like the way it looks next to yellow gold better than white metal.

TL;DR

Setting suggestions other than solitaire, halo or three stone please!

Nothing's really appealed to me and I guess I am not too enthusiastic about pale stones. That's what's making it tricky. I love pastels but this one leans a bit too pale for me. Another (bad) option is to make a pair of earrings using this stone, and another stone I have which is reasonably matched in color, but not in size. So that would necessitate recutting at least one (or both) stones which is just asking for trouble. If they were a little closer in size, I'd have no qualms about doing earrings with them.

The large oval is a little pinker but they do seem to match under all conditions. If only the oval was a little smaller and roundish...I don't even care about the faceting pattern differences.
