Hi,

I am looking to make a decisions on both these diamonds. Hoping any diamond enthusiast can help. They are exactly the same price, one from local jeweller another from whiteflash.

Whiteflash - hearts and arrow - HCA 1.2 a cut above - AGS and ASET
Local - Hearts and arrow - HCA 1 - GIA only

If we go with whiteflash, is there a recommended setting that has a 4 prong low profile look. We have seen the Tiffany true setting and it couldn’t fit a wedding band below. Prefer something higher but not as high up as the Tiffany setting.

Appreciate the advise! Thanks.

Is there one you like better? I suspect the one from your jeweler will have some light leakage. I’d need to see them both. The whiteflash one has documentation showing ideal light return

unfortunately, the local jeweller does not have an ASET. it is the one on the ring finger here.

It might not fit your time table but you can buy an aset.

from the photo, it looks nice enough but I can’t really see it like I’d like to.

Whiteflash, for certain. You really can't go wrong with them. And whomever you're working with at WF can help you choose your ideal setting. The customer service there is top-notch.

Whiteflash all the way. If you're willing to go to VVS2 clarity or E color, here are options that would save you some money and allow you to go bigger.

Something like this should allow for a wedding band to sit next to it.

The first stone is a 60/60 stone with a larger table and lower crown. It should* produce more white light than colored light. We
really need an ASET or Idealscope image to check on leakage.

An ACA cut is based on Tolkowsky and aims for more of a balance between brilliance and dispersion (color light). WF stones
are also H&A and have images to prove they are good (as in excellent/ideal) performers.

What kind of wedding band are you considering? All metal, pave stones, etc.? Height will be different depending on the type
of band.

Thanks. We also saw the decagons from Jann Paul and will have an appointment with them before making final decision. Can you please share any insights/experience about them? Thanks.

Are you thinking of getting a decagon? I absolutely love mine! It’s stunning! I have lots of pics/videos on here if you’re interested.

No problem. Heres a video I took right after I received it . Also, here’s some videos of me wearing it with my Brian gavin round ideal cut stone. I have zero regrets . Let me know if you have any additional questions on the stone or how the process works . :)

Looks awesome. What are the clarity, cut and weight of both if you don’t mind me asking? I assumed the decagon was from Jannpaul. Is that correct?

Yes, it’s from jaan Paul . Both are ags graded ideal cut .
Bg is 0.60 h, vs1, decagon is 0.85 f vvs1 . Finger size is 3.5

I'm sorry I dont have any experience with JP or their stones. Does seem like people are pretty happy with their Decagons. To note,
one of the main difference is that round brilliance have 8 mains (8 arrows when viewing from the top) and decagons have 10 mains
(10 arrows viewing from the top). Facets will be smaller on the decagon but you will have more. 8 mains will have bigger facets but
less. If you like lots of smaller sparkles the 10 main may be up your alley. If you prefer to see some bigger facets (bigger flashes of
light but less in number) then the 8 main might be up your alley. Of course its hard to determine which your eyes prefer and without
actually seeing them in person.
