Diamond earring size comparison .80ish-1ct

Hi all - has anyone compared .80ish - 1ct per ear? I can't decide if 1ct in my ear will be too big, and if there is just a smidge of a difference in a smaller size? If you were between these sizes, which one did you go for? Thank you!

This will come down to personal preference...one option may be to scour Amazon and see about getting some extremely cheap CZ studs in a variety of sizes for you to play around with and determine what size/spread that you like best.

There is a noticable difference between the two. I have both a 0.8 pair and a 1.0 pair. I can try to take photos for you.

Here’s a pic side by side. Slightly smaller but gives you an idea. The first hole has a 1.01 stud. The second hole is close to 3/4 carat . HTH!

Edit to add: there is a big size difference. I didn’t think there would be but my new 2 ctw studs look significantly larger in my ear compared to my old studs.
