Diamond Reset - Calla Setting

Hubby and I have been thinking about a reset for my diamond RHR for awhile. The diamond is a gorgeous .82 ct. G VS1 AGS 0, ISEE2. It was originally in a pendant but we reset it into a split shank setting with a FY diamond halo. The setting is nice but for whatever reason didn''t really seem to do much for my diamond. Well, this past week it''s finally found a forever home and my Calla pendant has a new little brother. Yay!! It''s a Callla setting, with .60ct of F VS1 Calla cut diamonds and .40ct F VS1 round diamonds. Like the pendant it has the most amazing detail work, especially on the profile. I''ll never know how they get the milgraining so tiny and perfect on their jewelry. I hope you don''t mind the slew of pictures I took. I love this setting, lol!

Thanks everyone! It''s amazing what a change in setting will do for a stone. It just seemed so blah in the other setting but it''s come to life in this one. For anyone considering a Calla setting, I can''t say enough about the quality of the calla stones and the workmanship. These settings really need to be seen in real life.
