Hello everyone

I apologize if this has already been discussed. My husband wanted to buy me a tennis bracelet made of earth mined diamonds, and while i dont own any lab diamonds (yet), i was wondering if there is any reason not to go the lab route for something like a tennis bracelet. Since the diamonds wouldnt be certed anyway, is there any more value in having natural diamonds over lab for a tennis bracelet? For reference , he is looking at costco and idj

Personally I would be more likely to go the lab route for something like this (tennis bracelet, or eternity band) - each individual stone is not of a large size and is not certified, and therefore the resale value is limited anyway. If lab diamonds are mind clean for you, I think it’s not a bad idea to save some money and buy a lab bracelet (as long as the savings are substantial. If they aren’t, then I would personally go mined because lab is not really that mind clean for me).

I took a chance on a 4ctw tennis bracelet from Costco last week and I absolutely love it. I highly recommend ordering one (or all of the different styles and sizes) you want to see. It ships the next day and they have an easy 90 day return policy if you don’t like it.

I’ve been on the hunt for a tennis bracelet for several months. I think LGD are great value but I couldn’t find a bracelet style I liked from a US/Canada based vendor. I tried going down the custom route but the vendors didn’t have the stone size I wanted in stock.

I posted pictures of my Costco and lab bracelet on these threads.

Mine is earth mined and def/vs/ideal cut but I do have to say, the fab jeweler that made mine also makes bracelets with lab diamonds and they made a honkin' one for a client once that is easily 2.5x the size of mine at the same price point with lab reports/certs for each individual diamond because they were above a certain size!!!

I still wouldn't trade mine for anything, though. It's perfect for what I wanted and I love it and wear it often. Goes with everything.

I opted for earth mined diamonds, SI/I in H/I colour stones, 7.5in and 5cttw in WG.

The price difference to a LGD with better colour and clarity stones is less than 1k USD.

The stones in mine are really white and sparkly, as recommended to me by the bench in China I normally use, with no visible black spots or inclusion to my naked eyes, and I am very happy with it.

DK :))

Thank you for all your input! I think I'd be happy with either :-) but saving money sounds great lol. I'll look into both and leave it to my husband
