Diamonds by the yard / station necklace - advice please

Hi everyone,

I am looking for an every day 7-stone station necklace. Just something that adds a bit of sparkle to the day.

How does one determine which bezel is a “better” custom bezel? Is it solely personal preference?

Between WF and IDJ, is one company more known for their custom bezels?

Any experience you can share is much appreciated.

They flip and it’s frustrating as hell. I love the look, but I can’t handle the flipping.

I have a 17" one and a 36" one and I love them both! From a distance I can't even tell if they are facing forward or not. The backs sparkle, too! Mine were from WF. I think theirs are the best, but my sister has one with smaller stones from IDJ and hers looks nice. I really don't look at things with a loupe!

What size stones are you thinking and what length?

Do you think it worth it to pay 30% more with WF than IDJ for such small stones?

At the time that I got my WF DBTY (7 stones, .15 each), I did a lot of comparing and ended up preferring WF’s bezels much more than IDJ - however, that was back in 2015 and IDJ now does nicer bezels so I’d have a harder time deciding. The diamonds at this size are small and not always clean since they’re on the neck, Yekutiel picks out very nice “PS quality” stones that would be lovely and 30% is considerable savings.
