Hallo all!

I've decided it's time to do an upgrade, so I'm going to let go of a few things. I'm planning to list:

1) 2 x .61 ACA F VS1. These are the diamonds sides of my 3 stone e-ring. Selling for $5000 for the pair. Stunning diamonds and perfect for the person who wants really top shelf diamond studs, or side stones for a ring. They stand up to all levels of scrutiny!

2) .64ct E VS2 AVR. The AVR brand speaks for itself. It's currently set in a stud but I will remove it prior to sale. Selling for $2100.

3) 2 x .51 set in studs. They're both F color and one is a VS2 while one is an I1. Don't be put off by the I1 grade - the diamond is perfectly eye clean, the small inclusion is off to the side, and when I had David Klass inspect it for me and guess the grade, he said "It's a very, very clever I1. hide the blemish under a prong, and it's a VS1." I *did* hide it under a prong, and it looks every bit as good as its matching pair. H@A quality. Super ideal stats. Selling for $2200

Extra info:

The ACA's -

Just to add - to buy new, the ACAs would be $5878 new. The AVR would be approximately $2600 new. The studs would be (and this is a guess, so I'm being conservative) $2800-2900 new. So all pieces are 15% or more off.

@mrs-b only buys the best, so this is a great opportunity!!

Curious to what you are planning next?!!

And now a few photos.

The two diamonds in the tear drop earrings are the 1.02ctw F colored studs. The teardrops aren't included.

.64ct E VS2 AVR. Currently set in a stud. Will be removed, prior to sale. This is a BEAUTIFUL little diamond.

Thank you for those kind words, @MRBXXXFVVS1 - and you're dead right. These diamonds are all top shelf. Like - utterly.

I'm thinking I might go up a tad in size and go back to a solitaire. Since my new EC, which is, essentially, a three stone, I've been missing a solitaire. If these things sell, I'll do that. If they don't, I won't. So we'll see!

Are you able to trade-in your smaller ACAs towards your upgrade? Or only the center stone?

Can't wait to see what you ultimately end up doing! Can't go wrong either way, your 3 stone ER is one of my favorite PS rings of all time!

I'm not sure, re trade ins - tho I *think* only the center stone. Again - we'll see! If I could trade all three, it would make my life soooo much easier and the trade up would be a dead certainty!

Ohhh, @mrs-b, those lovely studs! Whoever gets those will be so lucky! If my industry wasn't in freefall with covid, I would snatch them right up!!

I'm so sorry to hear about your industry, @lkolarik. And yes, these diamonds are all gorgeous; no tricks, no hidden flaws, no work-arounds. I'll miss them, that's for sure!

Best of luck to you @mrs-b on these beautiful diamonds! I'm already looking forward to your new solitaire. By the way, I love a clever I1. My diamond stud earrings are I1 and I am incredibly fond of them and they are gorgeous!

I hear you on this, @OdetteOdile! The first time I ever saw a really beautiful I1 was a 1ct Ascendancy diamond. After that, I was hooked. I ALWAYS look for them, tho I've only ever seen one I thought was so good, and so eye clean, it was worth buying. And I did! And now it's up for sale. :))

Here's my listing on LT:

Just to add - I do, of course, have all paperwork. And, having just pulled it all out of my files, I can tell you that I actually paid $3100 for the studs. So whoever gets these for $2200 is getting a BIG bargain.

Sorry - I need to clarify - the studs are E color, not F. And if that's the worst news I ever have to deliver....

Do you have any ear shots of the studs?
Also can you tell me about the setting?

Hi @Mamajemmy -

The settings are 14kt white gold, martini-style. They were set by DKJ in LA, and consequently the prongs are very delicate and beautiful; all you see is diamonds!

There's no point me taking ear shots, as my lobes are so large, you get no sense of proportion. The diamond earrings I wear most are 4.5ctw clusters, and even *they* don't look large on my ears. If you're interested in the studs, and would still like a photo, I'll happily take it for you. But please remember, my lobe is probably 2 times the size of yours, at least. The diamonds are ideal cut, and not overly deep, so their spread is very good for their weight. They're each a smidge over 5.1mm across.

Man if I wore earrings...

I’m looking at them for my mom who had been looking at 1.5 ctw and is slightly concerned that they won’t have enough presence for her as she feels she has a larger ear lobe. I was thinking that the high color (she’s been looking at i-j) and the excellent cut would allow them to stand out.

Hi @Mamajemmy - sorry for being so slow in getting back to you.

Got it, re your mom's concerns. Well, these stand out! And there is NO WAY her lobe is as large as mine! (sadly - what I wouldn't give for small, delicate lobes and skinny fingers!)

I'm just about to take a photo now and will post it here shortly.

Seriousy - world's longest earlobes....

And here's a Youtube video, tho it was downsized for my phone, so the sparkle in real life is WAY more than this shows.

Those studs are gorgeous (can't believe they are still available). I had to seiously talk myself down from upgrading to these yesterday (mine are same size but lower grade diamonds)

@mrs-b can you share where you got the beautiful teardrop jackets? I want!

Hallo @lilmosun! :wavey:

I get asked that re those jackets a lot! I bought them on ebay from a company which I believe is no longer in business. So I can't help you, I'm sorry! They were a great find, I have to say!

Beautiful!! Sending her these pictures now.

LOLOL

Ok darn I am feeling slightly tempted about making a three stone... with my E 0.89ct... gah.

Or maybe I should sell it to someone with a Canadian address haha. Decisions! Dust for a quick sale, Mrs-B. Can't wait to see what you create next!

I clicked so quickly when I saw preloved mrs-b items! Then I remembered I recently gave all my fun money to Whiteflash, otherwise I would be all over the AVR (in a rose gold bezel pendant). @pearaffair, a three stone seems like a good idea... ;-)

Oh man... right?! But I have to wait and see about this other piece I’ve got my eye on. Waiting! So hard!

I do love the idea of three E stones. I’m totally neurotic about colours matching.

Silly question. Since you don’t have certificates, do you have sarin reports?
Lovely!

Hi @rocks. I mentioned above that I do have all the paperwork and, if you go to the LoupeTroop listing (link is above) you'll see photos of all the certificates. No Sarin reports, tho, I'm sorry.
